This worked out well for me. I was in town for a 3-day convention at the GRB. The total cost here was about what 1 night cost downtown and I avoided the $45/day parking. I used the nearby Leeland/Third Ward MetroRail station which is 2 stops from the GRB. There is a concrete slab from a torn down building that I used to park next to the station. I had no problem parking on the street while staying at the Green Tiny House.
Though it is not listed in the property amenities, there was a coffee maker. It shows in one of the pictures, but not the close up of the cabinet on which it sits. There was even some coffee to use.
Be aware that there is not a closet, so there is nowhere to hang clothes. I would have liked a lamp as I like a softer light than overhead lights when winding down in the evening. Turning on just the kitchen light worked OK for this.
I only had time to use the TV for part of one night. It is all streaming on an Amazon Fire Stick, so bring your own login credentials and remember to log out when you leave.
Overall, I found the property was just as listed. The neighborhood is lovely with full sidewalks. It made me want to just walk the dogs with the neighbors. Had I more time, I would have spent some time in the courtyard in front of the Green Tiny House enjoying the cool evenings in the lounge chairs. I will rent again if I need to be back in Houston for a similar event.
