"It's a very basic accommodation, but clean and comfortable. If you want a no-frills stay in Xiamen, this place is highly recommended. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean, mattresses and pillows comfortable. Bathroom with shower en-suite. My only criticism is that one of our rooms smelled of cold smoke, as a previous occupant must have smoked inside. "

"The room 80503 was very noisy feeling like Melbourne F1 Grand Prix, but I was told it was windy. I asked for changing my room, reception answered that other rooms weren’t available (It’s after 2:00pm) I couldn’t sleep at night, asking reception for a quiet room. He found a room 80517 which was less noisy than 80503. Unfortunately it was a smoking room. I had no choice but staying in the room. I was very frustrated. I am here asking you hotels.com what room did you book for me? Please see attached pictures."

"It was a fantastic experience the staff were amazing especially Angela one of the managers was extremely helpful and one other manager on the dining restaurant Lake a super gentleman spoke perfect English and went beyond his efforts to accomodate any requests he definitely deserves a raise My all stay on this hotel I mast say one of the best 5star hotel that I experienced "

"Firstly, the room I booked online had a picture of a bath tub but when I was not given a room with one when I checked in. I had to inform the guest services and was told that not all rooms had a bath tub. I felt cheated as your picture of the room had a bath tub. Sound proofing of the rooms were ridiculous. I was constantly awoken by sounds of people talking and doors opening and closing. I did not get a good nights rest. Service from house keeping was great. But overall the other service I felt from the staff was cold and not up to par with what branding this hotel has. "
