Rosenvik, also known as Emil's house, is a charming 19th century house located in the small Småland village of Bredvik, outside Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World. The house appears in a modern light and has a fresh Scandinavian interior, giving you the feel of an old farmhouse, but equipped with all modern conveniences. The beautiful cottage is the summer home where you can relax, recharge for the autumn and spend time with family and friends.



There is a lovely glazed veranda for morning coffee overlooking the lush garden, as well as a large south-facing terrace to enjoy the sun or read a book. Make yourself comfortable on the garden furniture and spend a barbecue evening under the apple trees. Soccer goals for exciting games are also waiting for your children on the large lawn.



The accommodation is located near a lake, which invites you for swimming, bathing and fishing. In addition, hiking trails crisscross the area, where you can experience blueberry and chanterelle picking right outside the door. On excursions, visit the glass kingdom, where you can watch the glassblowers at work, or discover the archipelago of Oskarshamn. Within easy reach you will also find Katthult and Bullerbyn, where Astrid Lindgren's films were shot. For the older children we recommend Vimmerby Adventure Park and of course Virum Moose Park outside Tuna.
