Only one night

The key to the room and outside door didn’t work but staff were quick to help me. I was beside a room with a family with loud noisy children until 10 pm. There was no breakfast. These are the negatives about my stay.

Room review

Hi my stay was just ok. I killed about 4 roaches while i was there. But, the staff was pretty attentive. I liked the fact they sale little items that may have been forgotten while packing and the snack machines that were put in. I may stay there again who knows.

Just a one night alone!

Just needed a night alone. I was very comfortable but bummed that there was no coffee pot in the room. It was clean and at that point that’s all I needed.

Walter, who checked me in, was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. There was a glitch in the computer system but he quickly worked around that and got me into my room right away even though he needed more time to resolve the problem. The refrigerator in my room was broken, but he immediately got me into another room. He’s great at his job.

Old , it appeared fairly clean but the sheets were worn, comforter had a few small holes. It always makes me nervous about how clean it is if the bedding looks old and worn . We didn't have a trash can in our room . Someone kept banging something in the hallway. I was uneasy about staying but my husband said it was fine for overnight. My husband handled check in and said staff were friendly .

Enter the side door #2, the smell of weed/pot is greeting you. The room was musty. The floor needed sweeping & mopping, there was food under bed in plain sight & an exterminator needs to come out. No, I will not be staying here again. The manager I think her name was Sarah she was nice.

Staff was nice and helpful. Maintenance replaced the smoke alarm that was going off in my room- they forgot to bring a trash can for the room. I killed 3 adult roaches crawling on the walls before I went to bed. The morning coffee was fresh and I appreciated the tasty banana. Renovation is going on in the building

Bare Bones Property, but Clean and Well Located.

This is a tired and bare dones property, but well located for my visit to Madison. Plusses: Clean, inexpensive, ample parking, near attractions, interstate and services. Minuses: This is a run down property. Paper thin walls, no amenities except two vending machines, no clerk at checkout, tired mattress (but clean) , deadbolt wouldn't lock, hvac and bathroom fan very loud, halls echo. I would stay there again, but not with family. It was clean.

Staff at front were great. Looks great from front lobby. However, the property is rundown. Roach ran across floor. Room had no TV remote. Checking in room toilet had a poop in it due to extremely low water pressure. Bathroom door in 243 doesnt close. Not worth 81 a night.

Avoid if you can!!!

Not even sure where to start…. You have to call some random cell phone to have someone even come to the front desk to check you in. Bright side i suppose is they were pretty friendly. The guests sitting in the lobby with liquor bottles all over the place, the renovations they are doing are questionable at best. Our room happened to have an adjoining room, but can’t lock the door on your side because they painted over everything from the door to the lock, and even the handle. Our room was apparently already renovated but the curtains are barely attached, the room number was written on the door with a sharpie, the shower was filthy with cracked tiles and the popcorn ceiling falling off, the toilet wasn’t even attached to the floor, and the shower curtain was gross to put it nicely. The door had to be forced shut when entering or leaving and unable to lock it from the inside. They are doing renovations at all hours of the night yelling to each other, dragging things, slamming doors, etc. People out in the parking lot hooting and hollering all night right outside our window.
