"The owner here, Branco, is a great guy and very helpful. The only problem is that the property is about a mile or so from the Hvar Old Town so you either have to rent a car or walk the whole distance, which isn't terribly safe. The hotel has two small swimming pools but nothing was entirely open when I stayed there in late April. Apparently, things really heat up during the summer where I imagine there are more things to do."

"Note that the yard/pool is shared. Property is in a great place overlooking the main town, very easy to access. The pool is very nice and the pillows are very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here."

"Our stay at Pharos was perfect! It was exactly what we hoped for during our stay in Hvar. The highlights included the breakfast buffet, which was large and full of delicious options, the pool and pool bar, and the proximity to town and beaches nearby. a few things to keep in mind, to reach the hotel by foot you will be walking uphill - a very easy walk uphill in our opinion but an uphill nonetheless, they do offer baggage pickup and drop off at the Hvar ferry port if you are coming in/ out on...

"The property was just right. An easy walk to town and equipped with all the essentials. We are four, so it was great to have two bathrooms The hosts were great. They picked us up at the bus station when we arrived ( and dropped us off when we departed). We had dinner at the host's son restaurant and watched the sunset while enjoying delicious food and drink. "Beautiful home on the hill with an infinity pool overlooking a private bay. This is a little piece of paradise outside the noise and the hustle and bustle of Hvar town, but only a 10 min drive away. The owner, Tony, is very friendly and accommodating and will drive you to town for 13 euros each way. It is about a 45 minute walk. Very secluded and peaceful! Perfect for a romantic get away or for families, but come prepared as there is nothing near by but 2 quite pricey restaurants. "
