"TLDR: Outstanding! --but for the rest of you looking for my experience on this jewel, read on. The owner, Mark, was quick to respond to my questions before we booked the property. He was also there to greet us when we arrived to check in and give us a quick overview of the property. The property is just like you see in his photos. No surprises except maybe that it feels just like you'd expect once you set foot in the back yard. The overall property is on a very nice (perhaps one of the nicest) street in Old Town Port Aransas. Everything was extremely well maintained. The other thing we really liked was that the front door to the cottage faces the pergola and back yard area versus the other house, giving it a really private feel. We had friends staying for the weekend nearby, so we got to see a couple of other properties that we'd looked at when researching our trip and to be honest, I was both relieved and thrilled we'd picked Mark's property versus the others! We now have friends who will be fighting us for dibs next year during the annual trip. Everything about our stay here uses those same superlatives: amazing, wonderful, awesome--and with good reason. Mark has created a fantastic spot for visitors like us. I was initially going to write that I would not hesitate for a second to stay again. However, I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Thanks so much for a delightful first visit to Port A!"
