"This was a first visit for our family- we spent 2 nights here and had booked 3 rooms in all. The location is excellent and we loved the fact that the hotel is directly opposite the Gurney Bay park- beautiful stretch of beach front and a promenade/boardwalk for walking. The property itself looks majestic from the outside and the common areas. The rooms were a little outdated; the carpets could do with an update as there was a musky smell all around. The toilets weren't flushing well- just an older property. The Buffet breakfast was decent and had a variety of food items. However, the service staff weren't welcoming. We had similar experience with a front desk staff as well. The complimentary pop and water bottles in the room were appreciated and a nice touch."

"We really enjoyed our time at the property. (5 nights) We loved the convenience to so many great eating places and shopping, the amazing views and the size of the very large apartment. (Great size for a family) The apartment has a large tv, large fridge and a very new washing machine. The apartment feels very safe with swipe card access to lifts and keypad front door lock. The communication with the host was easy and timely and he was very willing to accommodate our wishes. Overall we had a great stay. Would absolutely recommend a stay here."

"The rooms and lifts need a complete refresh and deep clean. Paint was peeling off walls and the bathroom in particular was quite dirty. No toothbrush/toothpaste/handsoap/tote bag. 3 lifts servicing 42 floors meant the wait time was long. The shampoo and conditioner were in old water bottles. The furniture however was comfortable and amazing view."

"The room was spotless and well appointed. There is a local hawker centre about 400 meters away which we walked to for dinner. The bus stops were very handy and only 2MR to George Town. Zeus coffee was 5 mins across the road which my coffee enthusiastic enjoyed for price and quality. "
