"We had a wonderful stay. The staff was amazing and made us feel welcomed as soon as we walked through the door. I forgot his name but the gentleman that gave us our keys instantly made us feel we made the right choice for our stay. Idywild Inn is officially our new cabin spot from now on!"

"Location, (right outside Idyllwild) is great. Everything else, not so much. Room was not clean. Dust everywhere. Sliding door to small balcony had no lock, (not even a clasp to secure it since the entire handle was barely attached). Bathroom was so small and poorly laid out it was virtually impossible to use if needing to sit, (hopefully not TMI). Towels/washcloths very poor quality. The walls were so poorly insulated that you could hear anything/everything coming from adjacent rooms. As paid for was supposed to provide breakfast but no breakfast anywhere. When we went to check out on a Sunday morning the front office was locked even though the neon sign said the hotel was open. I was not expecting anything fancy but by any measurements this place is below minimal acceptable standards. "

"We knew this property was "rustic." But rustic is not the same as filthy. Rat baits in utensil drawers with the utensils sticking to them! Bug trays next to the fridge full of dead bugs. Cobwebs hanging from ceiling, dust on many surfaces. The bathroom shower is so old; needs replacing. I think the fixtures were the original ones from 40+ years ago. This place has potential but needs TLC and updating. As well as a thorough cleaning."

"Perfect location - only a few short blocks to town. Very cute and clean with everything provided - even the Keurig coffee. Lots of windows, so the rooms are all very bright. Two decks for enjoying the surrounding forest, squirrels and Stellar's Jays. We definitely highly recommend the La Petite!"

"Shabby and in a state of disrepair! I paid way, way too much for what I got. Lots of stuff is broken: the stairs going in and out, the shower knob, door locks, screens, etc. Make sure you read all of the reviews, a lot of them mention these broken things. The host says they will fix them. Well, they did not! "

"Highly recommend! This is truly a little slice of heaven, you feel private and secluded but can easily walk to town along the creek trail. Clean and cozy accommodation and a great escape for some tree bathing and relaxation. "

"I happened to receive a complimentary upgrade during my visit, and it added a special touch to my stay. The cabin itself was wonderful and Cayla at Idyllwild Realty was great! The cabin was a perfect getaway and walking distance to town."
