"Simple and warm check-in, impressed with the room (flannel room) had a closed off yard with comfy chairs to relax and table to sit properly and eat. Loved the private yard- perfect for my pup to play and roam and for me to enjoy relaxing on the chairs. Room is standard size with large closet, clean bathroom, mini fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Flannel room deco added cute character. I loved the creek there aligning the inn, over the two day stay had numerous beautiful simple strolls through nature with the water running sound. Easy 15 min walk to the center of town and 3 minute walk to the tasty mile high cafe and Alpaca coffee shop. And really a great deal $ for the getaway in nature my pup and I wanted :) Definitely will be back and will recommend the inn to others "

"We stayed at the Fireside Inn for 2 nights, and the place was rustic, cozy, and comfortable. Centrally located, in walking distance to everything. However, we stayed there during a time of heavy snowfall, and I am not complaining that we had to showel the driveway and our parking spot (that was part of the fun), but I wished there had been some wood logs provided for the fireplace. It was still a little bit of a distance to walk to the closest place for logs, and taking the car was out of the question during this heavy snow, and carrying a heavy wood bundle all the way to the property would have been quite difficult! So, with thick snowfall outside it would have been the perfect time to have a crackling fire going, but, helas, there was no wood.... Other than that the place was fine! We'll be back one day! "

"Had a wonderful experience!! Cabin bigger than it looks, very clean, TONS of towels (which I respect), and it had all your basic needs. Communication from the hosts was easy and responsive! The location is absolutely perfect! Easy walk to town! The backyard is perfect for dogs but make sure to keep them leashed. We will absolutely be coming back!"

"A 3 night escape from LA for a peaceful stay. So. Peace. Full. Close to hiking trails. Super clean and well appointed. Spacious. A little sad to leave. Especially the hot tub amongst the pines… "

"We were very pleased with our choice of this rental. Lots of room and the place gets nice and toasty (especially upstairs.) It is in a great location and the neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. We only had a couple hiccups that Gabby fixed immediately (hot tub was barely warm and the ROKU was all in Spanish. Gabby sent someone right away to fix the hot tub and we reset the ROKU for English-for the last 2 days there was no internet/ could have been an outage-we didn't care.) The property was very nice and offered us alternatives but we were happy staying at Knotting Hill. Overall, we recommend this place and looking forward to staying at some of the other rentals they own. "

"Our group loved this cabin! The house itself is beautiful. All of the wood and tile is just lovely. It was very clean and the kitchen had all the tools we needed. Plenty of lounging/ sitting areas as well as dining spaces (there were two dining tables). The beds were comfortable and clean. The upstairs bathroom was gorgeous. What a treat to have fireplaces in several rooms of the house. We gathered on the deck a lot. To chat, have meals, enjoy the stunning view, and to use the hot tub. Definitely a highlight of the house.Families:We had kids ranging from infants - 12yrs old. Pack n plays fit in a couple bedroom closets which made bedtime & naps easy. There are no blinds or curtains in the windows of this house. We really enjoyed this (you’re surrounded by so much beauty), but it is something for families to note if they are used to dark rooms. Also, in the twin bedroom upstairs there are case windows that open. I really like these and think they add a lot to the space, but there are no screens on them & they are on the second story. This was a huge safety issue for us!The bonus room on the top floor was perfect for all the kids to hangout. And they all enjoyed wandering the property. The game closet was impressive. Communication was clear. Check out process was simple and clearly laid out in binder. (Thankful we didn’t have to strip beds before we left.)Overall we loved it here and hope to stay again. Highly recommend!"
