"The staff was just incredibly nice. I cannot say good enough things about them. I travel for business all the time and I have stayed in many different countries and hotels. I was so impressed with everyone's generosity in Riga and the staff in particular went above and beyond any other staff I have encountered around the world. Really, really good people!"

"Appreciated very helpful staff, firm, comfortable bed & pillows, refrigerator not filled with products to buy, kettle, dishes, strong shower, controllable air conditioning, quiet, drying rack. Concerns were no English-language TV news available, even France 24 in English was actually in French. It's a good 20& minute walk to transit & to Old Town. Hair dryer is mounted too far from outlet to plug in. Phone number for reception should be on the phone so easily found. No luggage racks."

"The hotel is ideally locatedon the edge of the Old Town, a short walk from the centre. The reception staff were always helpful and friendly. The rooms were nicely fitted out, the air con was a little hit and miss. The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of choice."
