"Stayed only one night, but very much enjoyed the stay. Room 2 (deluxe double room) was big, with high ceilings, and very nice finishes. Good bed, good water pressure in the shower, powerful AC (once you activate it with the room key, can’t keep it on when you leave). One note: there is no front desk and communication is done via messaging, including check-in instructions, but they are very prompt to respond. Will return!"

"Stayed here before going to the cruise port in Civitavecchia (about a $60 US taxi ride). Took a transit bus from FCO airport to reach Santa Marinella (you have to carry your luggage into the bus; no under bus stowage was provided). The room was clean and comfortable. There is no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Air conditioning worked well to cool down the room. There was a small balcony off the bathroom with a little chair to sit, but people would come outside of the little restaurant next door and smoke, so we had to close the doors and windows. Breakfast was nice with a selection of cereal, bread & pastries, meats & cheese, and made to order coffees/lattes. There was a hair dryer in the bathroom, but it was broken. All in all, a nice place for the price."

"Disappointed on arrival as we were expecting a nicer setting. I felt mislead by the pictures. The apartment is on top of a grocery store, pastry and restaurant. The setting is very unattractive. Located about 1-2 km from town. If you choose to walk you will be on the highway which has no shoulders to safely walk on. On the positive side the place was older but clean and quiet. Even better was the convenience of the grocery store and the pastry shop was a nice touch with great pastries and the best cappuccino. Our host was very kind and responsive."
