"The view was better than we expected based on the photos. The apartment was clean and comfortable and we appreciated the tea and biscuits on our arrival. It's centrally located making it easy to get around the town and to catch the bus. The host and local contact were responsive and helpful in answering our questions. We'd highly recommend this property to others."

"Booking at the last minute, we had been braced for Cairn House to be a run-down B&B, but we were pleasantly surprised to find it was a pleasant, comfy, and well-maintained gem. Our bed had one of the comfiest mattresses we've found in a hotel bed, which were apparently in all the rooms. The owners were friendly, and went out of their way to make sure everything was clean and tidy. All in all, absolutely worth a visit."

"Great very reasonably priced stay at Avoncourt. Came down to Ilfracombe for a few days with an early trip to Lundy planned for one of the days. Helpful staff arranged for us to be able to have a light breakfast before we left. The second day we weren’t in as much of a rush and had an amazing breakfast of shakshuka - fantastic before a long hike on the south west coast path. Would recommend."
