"Location was excellent! One block from the market, and a 5 minute walk to a grocery store and parking. But the noise, and music, from the nearby bar was loud and went late into the night. We loved the rooftop patio! The stairs to all levels are very steep and narrow! Kitchen was small but adequate, well stocked with what we needed for meals. Aside from the stairs, the only other negative is that the shower leaked all over the floor, a lot! "

"Good Hotel"

"We booked this hotel for one night at the end of a three week trip. We arrived on a Sunday late evening after a long drive from Lisbon. Parking was very hard to find and had to walk a long way back to the hotel. Our room had a kettle and cups but no tea or coffee .When I went to reception to ask for tea and coffee I was told I could purchase some from them!!! or bring my own? We are global travellers and irrespective of hotel class where a kettle was provided there would be tea /coffee, I would have to purchase a box of tea bags a carton of milk and a packet of sugar. We were flying back home next morning making this a waste of money. The floor of our room was dirty under foot when you walk in bare feet. I later enquired about about the price of their wine and the prices were astronomical considering Portuguese wine is so reasonable this was taking the proverbial. The cooked breakfast was a bit disappointing, scrambled eggs very runny, bacon not real" bacon" no sausages, mushrooms or tomatoes . In a nutshell disappointing all around . Wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend."

"The Hotel and Staff were both stunning, everyone from reception to Pool Bar did everything possible to make our short stay extremely enjoyable. Room was spotless, bed very comfortable and a TV with Worldwide coverage (if you cared enough to think of home ), Tea and Coffee making facilities had no milk, this was immediately resolved by staff. Location is excellent, short walk in all directions brings you out at bars and cafes of Olhao."

"Staff were mostly very helpful apart from one of the male reception managers who was rude and dismissive. Housekeeping was generally very good , didn't always replenish toiletries or wash crockery in the room pool area ok not attractive and overlooking the road. It isn’t really a 5 star hotel 4 star at best. Breakfast was good but in a room which was hot and stuffy next to the car park. No where outside to eat breakfast. Definitely upgrade to a sea view room otherwise you are looking at a block of apartments. Not pleasant. I had to request my complimentary bottle of wine ."

"The fridge and cupboards were very stinky. No help from front desk whatsoever. Does not worth the money. "
