About this property

Walk to Lake, Dining+Shops | 5mins to Ski Resort | Incline Paradise by AvantStay

  • Incline Paradise is an updated Incline Village condo with 4 bedrooms, each with its own full bath, a short walk from town and the lake.

Incline Paradise sits on the third floor of a condo community in the middle of Incline Village, and the location does a lot of the work. Groceries, coffee, shops, and a good spread of restaurants are a short walk away, and the lakeshore is about half a mile down the hill. It's the kind of place where the car can stay parked for days.

Inside, the layout is open and feels bigger than its footprint. The kitchen, dining area, and living room share one space, so whoever's cooking stays part of the conversation. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, good pots and pans, a Nespresso machine, and pantry basics like spices and coffee. The dining table works for a family dinner that runs into game night, and there are board games on hand when it does. In the living room, plush seating gathers around the fireplace.

Out on the balcony there's room for everyone to sit with a view of the mountains and the cool alpine air, whether it's early coffee or the last light of the day. Outdoor furniture is set out from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The bedrooms are what make Incline Paradise work so well for groups. All four have their own full private bathroom, so two families can share comfortably, and nobody waits for a shower before the lifts open. An in-unit washer and dryer keeps ski layers in rotation, and you'll have two designated covered parking spaces plus an open community lot. A pack 'n play is in the home, and a highchair is available with 24 hours' notice.

Summer starts at the lake. The shoreline is a short walk away, and Sand Harbor, with its clear water and granite boulders, is about 10 minutes by car. The Tahoe East Shore Trail and the Flume Trail both meet the shore near Tunnel Creek, a few minutes' drive away, and there are walking trails close to town too.

In winter, Diamond Peak is about five minutes away, with runs that seem to drop straight into the lake. Mt. Rose is about 25 minutes up the highway and Northstar about 30. Come back, kick off the boots, and settle in by the fire.

Lake Tahoe straddles the California and Nevada border high in the Sierra Nevada. It gives you the mountains and the water in the same trip: ski days above cobalt water in winter, long lake days in summer.

Our Concierge Service can handle the details, from fridge stocking, private chefs, and massages to transportation, special occasion celebrations, baby gear rentals, ski gear, beach gear, and more.

Good to know: the condo is on the third floor with no elevator, so plan your luggage accordingly. There is no air conditioning.

Situated in the snowy Sierra Nevada Mountain range straddling the border between California and Nevada, Lake Tahoe offers stunning panoramic scenery and year-round adventure. Winter sports enthusiasts love to conquer dramatic slopes that seem to fall into the abyss of the lake's cobalt blue water. Whether you're looking for a day in the mountains or a booze cruise on the lake, you can have it all in Tahoe!

Great for a quick Tahoe weekend getaway!

Great place to stay at in North Lake Tahoe, appreciated all the amenities and location is prime - driving distance near a lot of the Tahoe hot spots on our vacation list. Two of the bathrooms did have showers that had counterintuitive water temperature dialing, if that makes sense (usually the further “on” you turn the faucet, the warmer the water gets, but that wasn’t the case with two of the showers), but that is a very minor hiccup in an otherwise great stay!

The property had a new kitchen and new bathrooms which was very nice. It was very clean. The TV was mounted near the ceiling which made viewing difficult and the “couch” in the family room was very cheap and felt like a college dorm futon. The views from the deck were average and the small windows in all of the bedrooms were a bit disappointing both for lack of a view and air flow as there is no air conditioning. Plenty of fans were provided. The incline village beach is private and to access the beach/lake each person in our party had to pay 18/ day, even to attend the live music in the evening. We spent time each day driving to public beaches in other towns. That being said incline village is a walkable, pretty town with drivable access to other beautiful areas. We enjoyed kayaking at sand harbor, hidden beach, east shore trail, emerald bay, eagle lake, sugar pines beach, and the heavenly gondola. Lake Tahoe is absolutely stunning!
