"Apartment was huge but felt the space could have been configured a bit better e.g. with a kitchenette or more comfy living area. View was amazing (just be aware that the picture shown is when the trees were very young/ had no leaves and they now cover the lake view). Breakfast was nice. Cleaning was good but would have liked the bed linen to be changed - we stayed for 5 nights and it was not changed."

"We booked this B&B for one night but wish we'd stayed longer. Our hosts, Katerina and Valerio were magnificent in every way. Our room and facilities were perfect. You can step out of the bedroom into a lovely garden/patio with tables and chairs where you can watch the sun go down over the mountains. Excellent breakfast too. There are a couple of restaurants a short walk away..... We went to the one opposite the church. The food was amazing... especially if you like Porcini mushrooms! This place...

Belle grande chambre dans un immeuble très bien rénové.
Il y a pas mal d'escaliers (2 ou 3ème étage) pour atteindre la chambre mais nos valises ont été montées par le mari de Debora :)
L'immeuble est très bien situé en plein centre à environ 10-15 minutes de la gare (avec les valises et les pavés on avance moins vite :))
Petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix (salé, sucré, yaourts, fruits..)."

Simona and Alberto were amazing. This property is simply beautiful in every way. Flowers, trees, shrubbery and an amazing view of the lake right out our window and from our open air balcony. We also had a charming outdoor space for dining and/or having a drink overlooking the lake amongst the beautiful landscape. Our suite was spacious and up to date. Amenities were perfect. We rented a car and had no troubles parking at this hotel. Streets are narrow everywhere in this...
"This is a beautiful hotel with modern amenities. The queen bed was comfortable, yet firm. The breakfasts were delicious with fresh pastries and cappuccinos, yogurt and cheese and more. It is very close to the train station and ferry, so you can get pretty much anywhere. Several restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk and serve delicious north Italian food and local wines. The only drawback is that the room is quite small, as is the shower. Still, we loved our stay. "

The breakfast in the morning needs a little more variety and the same with the waitress head that needs a little bit more kindness. "An old, stately hotel, with works of art in the corridors, lobby and gardens. Wonderful housekeeping and laundry service. Very plentiful buffet breakfast included, where one can sit at a table overlooking Lake Maggiore. The dinner at this restaurant was excellent. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the town of Stresa, where there are shops, restaurants, and a boat to transport you to the islands. The gym/spa/pool complex is amazing.
