"Breakfast was great! Too bad they were in the middle of renovating. Debris and mess everywhere on the main floor. Would have thought they would keep the clutter and mess concentrated on the floor they were remodeling. Staff was great, though, and let my wife keep her shoulder ice wrap in the employee fridge freezer."

"Pool and hot tub out of service, tub wouldn’t drain, building needs attention all together and the washing machine we had to put a piece a paper in the ton to get it to work. Not the best property "

"I am from the SE Iowa area and when I come home for a visit I always stay at the Hotel Ottumwa! I've been going there for breakfast since I was a little girl. Best stay around and such a beautiful building. Staff is great and the food is amazing!"

"This place is a very clean, quaint and quiet place. It has a farmhouse feel with all you need for sustainability. Communications with the owner was very simple and pleasant. I rented for approximately 2 months and would have stayed longer if it was available."
