Very clean room but the shower could be improved. It is set into the wall so taller visitors have to bend down to wet their hair. The water was hot so no problems with actually taking a shower once hair was wet. Excellent food and choice of drinks. Staff were friendly and keen to ensure we were served quickly without fuss.

I am a regular visitor to this country pub inn. clean rooms, friendly staff, traditional pub ambiance, convenient for road trips and nice garden with kids play area. Also very good food choices. If you are looking for a quintessential English country pub inn to stay, this is the place.
