"El hotel es muy bello pero al parecer lo están dejando decaer por falta de mantenimiento en general goteras molestas en habitaciones que no permiten descansar, filtraciones de los pisos superiores en área de baño, el lavamanos de nuestra habitación desprendido del mueble #114 los muebles en general descuidados despostillados, manchados en condiciones regulares, los blancos, sabanas toallas rotas muy desgastadas, los espejos manchados por edad y humedad, en general la atencion muy buena."

"Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, clean and comfortable room. Because rooms face out on a corridor open from the first to the rooftop restaurant, street and nearby restaurant noise enters from the top down. Some rooms only have windows facing the corridor with no view."

"Everything and everyone was absolutely wonderful. I only had one thing and that was we paid for the breakfast for every morning (buffet) and they only had it 2 days out of our 9 day stay. We were able to order off the menu. So next time I won’t pay the extra."

"The owners are amazing..make you feel so welcome. The hot water was the best we have experienced in Mexico in terms of pressure and heat. The air conditioner is in the bedroom so the kitchen does not get the benefit of it..a fan in the kitchen would help. The utensils in the kitchen were limited but the owners provided us with the items we requested. We love this hotel."

"This is a simply gorgeous place to stay. The top floor palapa with dipping pool has views towards the lagoon and the Grand Isla hotel. Sunrise on the palapa is very special. The location is great: close to the malecon for a sunrise or sunset stroll and close to the many music locations. The apartment itself is really well designed and well equipped. As long as you don't mind some street noise (but the AC provides white noise) there cannot be a better place to stay in Barra."
