You are perched in the middle of the rainforest overlooking the ocean on one side and mountains on the other. "We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All of the lodge buildings are very sympathetically designed, and blend well with the surroundings. Everywhere is very clean and maintained to a high standard. We loved sitting on the bar stools and watching the monkeys and morpho butterflies. All staff were polite, friendly and helpful, and assisted us with booking excursions. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented, as were the cocktails! We loved the quirky bed in our cabin, and enjoyed sitting on the veranda and watching all the wildlife in the creek below - juvenile caimans, turtles, lizards, dragonflies, and my absolute favourites - hummingbirds. Listening to the orchestra of sounds at night was at night was fantastic! We did a night walk and we're amazed at our guide's knowledge, enthusiasm, and ability to spot creatures that we would never have seen without him! The trails within the grounds are easy to follow, and there is so much to see - including the resident sloth - ask the staff and they will point him out to you. I was thrilled to see so many hummingbirds. Danta Corcovado Lodge is a great place, and all staff work hard to ensure that guests are well looked after and enjoy their stay."

"We really enjoyed our stay here! We were up in one of the rooms on the hill which had amazing views of the bay as well as great opportunities for birdwatching. The room itself was super clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great proximity to the nature trail as well! We would stay again for sure."
