Brightside boasts several outdoor areas, including a welcoming front porch, a screened porch with a cozy seating area, a back deck with propane BBQ grill, a private balcony off the second floor master suite, a backyard with fire pit, Adirondack chairs and string lights and an entertainment area in the garage with TV, sectional sofa and a ping pong table. The home's interior is also stunning with its beautiful furnishings, freshly painted walls, hardwood floors, crown molding and high ceilings.

Guests enter Brightside by walking up the exterior stairs in the front yard to the front porch of the home. Once you enter the front door, you will find a foyer that leads you to either the large living room with comfortable seating or a half bathroom & den off of the kitchen. The living room connects to the dining area, the screened porch and the kitchen. One of the home's master suites is located on the ground floor off of the living room. Take the interior staircase to the second floor to find the master suite, the bunk bedroom, the guest bedroom, a hallway bathroom with a double sink vanity & shower/tub combo and the laundry room. Off-street parking on the driveway for up to 4 cars is included in the rental rate.

NO PETS; NO SMOKING. Tenant must be 25 years old. NO PARTIES, EVENTS, PERFORMING ARTISTS OR BANDS ALLOWED AT ANY TIME. You may not exceed the maximum occupancy at any time — day or night. These are causes for eviction with no refund, and may damage our ability to offer the home for future guests exposing you to liability. Brightside

Our group chose Brightside for a girls trip and we were so happy with our choice. The house looked just like the pictures. It was spacious, clean, comfortable and worked perfectly for our group. The location was great and being just a short walk to the beach was a plus. We would definitely stay there again.

Brightside June 2025 Trip

The house was everything we had hoped it would be. The beach was much closer than we had expected it to be, and for those that didn't want to soak up sun on the beach this house provided a really relaxing and quiet respite to that. The rooms and bathrooms were all much nicer than what you would find in most other houses, and all the appliances (kitchen equipment, AC, etc.) worked perfectly. If I'm ever heading back to Isle of Palms I will definitely be booking this house again.

Family Thanksgiving 2022

We rented Brightside for Thanksgiving break. The home is very spacious and easily accommodated 6 adults and 4 teenagers. It had everything we needed for our stay and was convenient for access to the beach and Charleston. I would highly recommend this property to others with similar needs.

ISLE of PALMS

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Brightside celebrating a multigenerational family reunion US/UK. The house is VERY nicely furnished and met all our needs. We especially enjoyed the short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants; plus the added recreational items in the garage like bikes, ping pong table, and cornhole. We would definitely rent again, without hesitation.

Very nice house and location

All went smoothly with our check-in and stay. House nicely furnished with all amenities we needed. Was a short 3 night stay and had some a/c contractors in twice during stay so we asked for a few hours later check-out to compensate for the upstairs being occupied with contractors One evening & one morning. Our request was promptly agreed to.

We arrived at the house and we were shocked at how beautiful the home was. In most listings the pictures make the house look better than it is, in this case it is the opposite. The rooms were all very clean and the interior looked brand new. The garage was an awesome hang out spot as well. All in all, great stay and would definitely return to this area and this same house.

Wonderful location and property

We vacationed here, and it was the best vacation that we have enjoyed. The house is truly amazing! It is well laid out, has wonderful furnishings, extremely comfortable beds, and a nice kitchen. The screened in porch was a focal point of our mornings. The beach was a short walk away through a nice dune area. We had a couple of older ladies with us, so the master on main was a great feature. The rooms are huge! The steam shower upstairs and grill were also wonderful additions. We had a little internet hiccup that we didn’t discover until 10 PM, and the hosts immediately responded with help. Thank you so much for a wonderful property!

Wonderful Location & Gorgeous Home

This beautiful, bright, spacious home was described accurately and the location was convenient and peaceful. Communication with the hosts was easy, and they were very quickly responsive to text messages. There was a lock to an outside door that did not work, and the hosts had it replaced with a brand new doorknob promptly upon sharing this with them. The home was clean and the beds were comfortable (firm mattresses) and the linens were soft and fresh. There was ample room in the kitchen storage for all the items we brought to cook every meal throughout our stay. The beach is a very short walk from the home through a safe and quiet neighborhood. I would not hesitate to book this location again and very much look forward to returning.

Spacious and Perfect for a FUN long weekend at IOP!

We loved staying at Brightside! The home met all expectations, was clean upon arrival, and great communication throughout. The oven had a spill from a previous renter and the team was responsive, on it, and able to fix the issue that same day, early afternoon, in plenty of time for prepping and making a delicious dinner in the well prepped kitchen- had all needed for cooking/baking/making meals. We loved the kitchen space, large pantry, extra room off kitchen for additional storage, the garbage cans, and any additional leaning products/tools. The communal layout downstairs made for an ease/flow of movement, which was refreshing as we had 9-10 girls in the house throughout the weekend and it never felt crammed! The living/dinning room is spacious and gorgeous, too! Plenty of room to hang out around the couch, beautiful fireplace, and a big, long, chic dining table that allowed all 10 of us to sit and enjoy a lovely dinner as a group! Beautiful set up! Off the open living / dining room in one is the large porch with lots of seating! It is on the side of the home, private, and we so enjoyed drinking coffee and chatting together on the peaceful and screened porch each morning! Furthermore, the bedrooms were wonderful! One master upstairs with a bathroom to die for, and 2 other great rooms that share a bath off the hallway. There is another wonderful master downstairs + a good sized home office! Bed was SO comfy! I slept great! Overall, house exceeded anticipation! Thank you!

Beautiful house/poor management team

The house is beautiful, but missing a lot of the amenities, such as a working refrigerator. We have 3 children under 2 and did not want the extra headache of taking them out to restaurants; therefore, we brought and purchased a lot of food to eat at home. On night one, we noticed the refrigerator was not working and reached out to the management team. They informed us to wait 24 hours bc the refrigerator had just been cleaned and it could take up to 24 hours for it to become cold again. By that time, we had to purchase extra bags of ice and use all of our coolers to help save our food (enough food to feed 7 adults and 3 children for 3 days). We ended up having to discard some of the food. The afternoon following the arrival, they brought us a college dorm style mini fridge, that was better than nothing, but still not nearly large enough. They ended up bringing out a second mini fridge, upon request, but waited until the next afternoon. By this time we had been there 2.5 days, struggling to keep food safe to eat. It was a serious inconvenience that was not adequately addressed. Also, the front door is falling off the hinges.

Great Trip and Stay

The Brightside was a perfect fit for our family. Easy walk to the beach and off the main island thoroughfare. Home was well equipped and in good condition. We were short on bed linens but that was quickly rectified by iTrip staff. The out door shower did not work and the garage playroom was way to hot to be used, even with the small AC….probably a good addition in the fall and winter months. Over all we were satisfied with the accommodations.

Close to Beach Hoouse

We had plenty of room for our family, it had the bathroom items needed, and best of all no taking sheets off the bed when it was time to leave. We went to the beach every day. The only one thing that we didn't like we couldn't find a light for the side of the house. Our daughter in law backed into our car trying to get out of the driveway. Maybe the lights were burnt out. It was a great place to stay.

Beautiful house, comfortable stay, amazing location but not well stocked with the basics

The house was beautiful and in an amazing location. Clean, well kept and comfortable. However, the house was stocked with only 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, and no extras. For this nightly rate and in a home that sleeps 10, we would expect that the home would come stocked with the basics. We found this to be disappointing. Otherwise, the house was very enjoyable.

Perfect

We had the most wonderful stay in this home! It was impeccably clean and had every single thing we needed. We were in town for my son’s wedding that was in Mt Pleasant and IOP and the location was convenient to everything and everyone! The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and the layout is great.

Excellent Thanksgiving getaway

We stayed at Brightside for our family's Thanksgiving holiday. The house was perfect. The 10 of us were able to stay in comfort and enjoy Thanksgiving together just as we would at home. The kitchen was well appointed with dishes and cookware. We used the gas grill as a secondary warming oven. The dining room table is huge and we were all able to sit together and enjoy our meal. The beds are comfortable, the couch is enormous, and the bathrooms are excellent. We enjoyed trying the steam shower in the master bathroom. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great while we were there but the kids got to spend time in the garage playing ping pong which they loved. We would have loved to use the firepit outside but the rain made that impossible. We were able to walk to the beach and enjoy a few hours of sunshine there. The walk was very short and easy. I would love to come back in the summer and enjoy the house and beach again.
