Cleanliness of the room was bad, Breakfast 3*

My superior room was so dirty dust on the floor everywher stains on the tables everywhere it seems like cleaning means only bed dressing in this hotel and no vacume no table cleaning, breakfast was another thing that disappointed me I never been in a five star hotel that dont serve omlet even four star hotels do this when I adked they told me I have to pay extra !! The breakfast was so basic like a three star hotel

部屋の窓からの景色は抜群

一定のセキュリティーは確保されており安全面では申し分ないが、部屋の清掃が不十分であちらこちらにほこりが残っている。シャワールームの水はけ悪く、シンクからオーバーフローしてしまった。

A all comfort luxury hotel near Taksim Square

If you are looking for a modern all comfort luxury hotel near Taksim Square in the modern European side, look no further. This hotel was very good, but we enjoyed the location less. During our week stay in Istanbul, we decided to share our lodging between two different hotels in two different areas to get a better feel of what it felt to be in Istanbul. We spent the first 4 days in the Sultanahmet District of Istanbul for a quite different experience. We enjoyed staying in the old city better. If we had to stay in the more more European side again, we will probably stay closer to the Galata Tower, more centrally located. That said, there is plenty to see and do near Taksim Square. The room (we were upgraded to a Superior Room) was very spacious with large modern bathroom. I will rate it more like a 4-4/1/2 stars then 5 stars but it had all comforts and amenities you may need. The free internet was very fast in the room. The service was uneven. Some staff were great, other non-smiling at all. We felt very safe as there is a security gate to let car enter, a weapon detector once you enter and you can only use the elevator if you have a room key. Great bed. Stayed December 2015

Questo albergo credo abbia le potenzialità per essere eccezionale , ma la mancata manutenzione la scarsa pulizia ed addirittura le federe dei cuscini con i buchi sono scandalosi. Non è sufficiente mettere una caramellina di benvenuto se la moquette è piena di macchie ed il pavimento rovinato e per niente pulito. Il personale dell albergo è gentilissimo e disponibile , sono tutti molto educati ma non basta per dare ungiudizio positivo a questa struttura

Nice facilities but not clean

Listen to the reviews of the people that have been to this place because they are not lying. Its a nice hotel but they are not clean at all. Dirty rugs, they dont change towels, dont pick up the used cups and plates. Sorry but for a five star hotel someone has to do some caring! I wont be going back.

WiFi was not working in the room at all! You had to go to the lobby to get a slow signal! The weather had turned cold in Istanbul but the hotel could not turn on the heating! Room was freezing! Overall, this hotel is a 4* - definitelY NOT a 5*!!!!

Nice hotel, reception staff not friendly, we arrived early on the day and weren't given an indication on when our room would be ready. After an hour they told us it would take another 3. Not very organised though we had mentioned we would be checking in early. The room was nice, bed sheets and cover were worn out. Duvet was too small for a king sized bed. Breakfast was great, lots of selection including Turkish food. Lobby area was nice. Good location, minutes from Taksim and lots of nice restaurants and mini marts.

Should be much better.

On first glance the hotel looked quite impressive, pretty lobby and well dressed staff. On entering the room I was impressed by it's size, unfortunately the television was quite far from the bed! Given half an hour I could have rearranged it and made it much more sensible! The room was equipped with the typical array of confusing light switch banks, for example the switches for the bathroom were outside on a wall about 6 feet away from the bathroom, by the end of our fifth stay I'd figured them out! There was no tub in the basic room but a nice rainshower fixture. Our room was never actually vacuumed at all while we were there, this was evident by the small piece of candy that was still there when we left..just call me Miss Marple! It's a pity that I couldn't be more positive about the Marti as it showed a certain promise, maybe reviews such as this will help it attain a few more stars.

GLAD I PICKED THIS HOTEL!!

I'm so glad I stayed at the Marti Istanbul Hotel....great area....very close to Taksim square. Very walkable to everything...i.e. Metro stop and restaurants and the Istakal Cedessi area. My room was spacious and the bathroom was very nice. Waterfall shower...an added plus (especially from drought-ridden California). One of the best amenities of the Hotel is the Mixo Terrace, which is the rooftop bar/restaurant. Very hip and cool with a great view of the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. There is DJ that spins great music...awesome place to watch the sunset!!!

Cosmopolitan hotel, ideal city break

Location of this hotel was perfect. The airport transfer Havatas bus ( only 11 TL per trip) stopped almost outside this hotel and it was only a short walk from the Marti hotel to Taksim Square. From here it is so easy to travel by tram to the historic sites during the day and return to the buzzing Taksim area at night for food, drink, shopping and entertainment. The vibe in the area round the hotel was wonderful and loads of great places to eat. The hotel itself was stylish and chic, rooms large, bed huge and the staff incredibly helpful, particularly the waiters in the fab, cosmopolitan roof top bar. Lovely people and a great hotel. Highly recommended

Great option for Istanbul downtown!

The hotel is great, the breakfast is tasty (and worthy the EUR 18 they charge per person), and both the Turkish bath and the concierge service are excelent. The downside is that the Internet is not so good.

Buen hotel, le falta para ser 5 estrellas

El hotel en general esta muy bien, pero no vale el extra que pagamos por ser un 5 estrellas. El desayuno normal. Las habitaciones lindas. El hamam (uno de los motivos por los que elegimos el hotel) no lo pudimos usar porque estaba reservado para tratamientos. El día que fuimos los jacuzzi estaban sucios y el baño de vapor uno de los días estaba apagado y lo tuvieron que prender. Un día no cambiaron el papel del baño y dejaron las toallas tiradas. Varios pequeños errores que no pasan en un 5 estrellas de marca. La atención del personal es excelente !! en general está bien y bien ubicado siempre que uno elija taksim ya que hay zonas mucho mas lindas (nisantasi).

Nice hotel but dissapointing

stayed for 6 nights, hotel was nice and clean but the service was terrible. Arrived at 11 pm, no welcome at the doors or the foyer,also desk clerck was not very welcoming at all. Hotel never had travel plug for my phone charger so had a dead battery 1st night. second day still no plug so i got my own end of second day, (no one got back to me with a charger). terrible for 5* hotel. felt like i stayed in a security compound rather than a hotel. loads of security staff around. didnt feel any welcoming or personal connection from all staff at all. wifi was terrible in my room (722) not acceptable for a business stay and business hotel.

Für ein Upgrade in die Suite, blieben natürlich keine Wünsche offen. Das Bad war ausgestattet mit einer Dampfsauna und allen Extras. Die Location war optimal, ruhig und an der Fussgängerzone gelegen zum Taksim Square. Gerne sofort wieder buchen.
