Excellent location close to using ferries/public transport. Many restaurants nearby. Hotel Spa, was small and basic. Sauna/steam room not working. Had a swimming pool and that’s about it Felt more like three star. On a positive the staff were friendly. For breakfast can request omelette etc which is made to order. Free bottled water provided

Galata hotel is located it in a wonderful location, near everything by walking or train, the staff was very helpful and gentle. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was really good. I would recommend Galata hotel to anyone and if we have the opportunity to come back for sure we will stay there again.

There is no spa service/therapist. No massage whatsoever. And the front desk help is extremely rude and disrespectful. They are also dishonest . Over all very poor service. I will never stay here again nor will I ever recommend this hotel To anyone. No tooth brush tooth paste or hair dryer

Great stay

Great stay at Galata's for long weekend with a friend. The spa downstairs is lovely and just what you need after a long day sightseeing. The location was absolutely fantastic, within walking distance to lovely cafes, great restaurants and bars, and super easy to walk over to Fatih (or get the tram). The staff went above and beyond. I would stay there again in a heartbeat but I would request a room on a higher floor - as another review mentioned, we were on the second floor and it was a bit noisy sometimes.

Great staff and perfect walkable location in Karakoy and Galata area, with quick access to Galata Bridge and the tourist center of Istanbul. I would definitely stay here again, in spite of some street noise from the bars/restaurants all around.

While it took a second to find the hotel as it is on the walking street, it is right behind the JW Mariott back door. It is on the great walking street, and is quiet. Front desk is so helpful.
