Like most accommodations in Istanbul, this one is located on a sloping ramp. Most room amenities must be purchased separately. It is uncomfortable because there is a lot of noise between floors and between walls. But the host is friendly and the scenery is nice.

Nice comfortable apartment in Istanbul center

Very good apartment for family & friends stay in Istanbul. We stayed 7 nights. Safe and quite area, no outside noises, despite the very central location. Minutes walking to Taksim square&metro, Galataport, etc. Migros grocery shop just downstairs, good places to eat just around the corner (like Susam cafe, etc). Communication with the owner/property manager was smooth and fast in responses; help, assistance and advice provided immediately. Comfortable beds, all needed kitchen equipment to prepare food for children.

Great location but

Location is great and its good value for money. My issue was that they advise that they have full wheel access, however there are arouns 10 steps before you reach the elevator. This is very challenging to my elderly mother. When we complained and asked to cancel, the refused and were dismissive. They said, we can carry the wheelchair up the steps. This very impractical and risky.

Our stay

Upon arrival the property had no signage nor indication of it existing. We were walking around for quite some time looking for an entrance when someone on the street heard us and guided us. The hotel allowed us an early check in which we were grateful for. However the check in/reception overall interior were poor. There were cleaning supplies & junk items in the corridors. The rooms contained no shampoos, shower gels or lotions, neither was there ever anyone at reception to request these items from. Over our 3 days of stay, the room was not cleaned once nor were we once asked if we required anything (water, toilet paper etc.). Rooms were clean and location was a 10 minute walk from Taksim, however for the price paid; we believe the hotel needs improvement to add more value for money.

Great location but not in a good condition

We were 5 people in a 3 bedroom apartment. The location is amazing, close to many cafes and grocery stores. The apartment has an elevator which is rare in the neighborhood I think. The living room and bedrooms were clean and nicely designed. The bathroom could be cleaner and could use some paint on the walls. The shower door was broken and the glass was kind of disgusting. There was no shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom. The bedrooms don't have any closet, there are some shelves to put your clothes on. The kitchen stuff like the cabinets and fridge were clean and nice, but there are not enough dishes. There is no spice, so we had to buy everything. The TV and the couch are good, but one more chair could be convenient. The lobby smells bad and there are usually packages and junks on the stairs or entrance. There is no sense of decoration. We actually first checked into an apartment that had a bad smell in the bathroom so we asked to change the apartment and they changed it for us. The staff are nice people. They don't speak English except Ismet whose English is good and is comfortable on Whatsapp. For example, we woke up one day with no hot water in the apartment. I texted Ismet around 7am. He fixed the hot water in a few hours.
