Primely and conveniently located by the Ortakoy ferry and the Çirağan and Beşiktaş Cadessi (Street) waterfront with views of the omnipresent Bosphorus Bridge and surrounding hilltops, stunning Yıldız Park, and a metro station just an Istanbul hike away. Cafeteria hours could be made a bit more exact and washers, not swipe/NFC unfortunately which is out of character nowadays in Türkiye. Otherwise great amenties- pool, fitness center, parking and late night restaurant options nearby including the coffee shop in the lobby. Overall a very pleasant stay, likely to return and I highly recommend!

Bad attitude for tourists

They didn't clean our room for 2 days. Moreover, they didn't even put toilet paper, so, we had to go and ask for it from reception. Basically, they're super disrespectful to tourists.

Actually I faced one of the worst experience ever had. I forgot my Airpods the day of the check out in the room. The last time shown in the icloud map after check out in the hotel. When I back the room was clean and there is nothing, and the staff know nothing!

Student apartment

I stayed in Republika some years ago and I went to the same place expecting that it is still the same. Yet, with covid19 and the decrease of people in it, apparently things changed. As it is a student appartment, apparently not much is expected. I was surprised that I couldn’t have even coffee when im there. The coffee-shop was closed yet the restaurant was open, which would have made it feasible. On my last day I talked to Ms Hava and she was extremely helpful and offered me some support. This made me consider visiting them again. Also, one of the receptionists was extremely helpful, unfortunately I can’t remember his name but it had “Ğ” in it. Otherwise, the place is ok for “working remotely”, yet, the price for room size and amenities can be better.

Oda modern ve güzel görünüyordu ancak nevresimler kokmasa altındaki yastıklardan ağır ter ve kirli saç kokusu geliyordu. Havuz güzel, mekan güzel ancak apartta kalan öğrenciler geceleri odalarda deli gibi yürüyorlar, uyumak mümkün değil, Ayrıca yanlarından geçen yaşlı müşterilere “bunların burada ne işi var” diyerek laf atabiliyorlar. Bu da çok rahatsız edici açıkcası.. Eskiden Ortaköy’de yaşamış biri olarak “öğrencilerin yazın aparttan gitmiş” olduğunu ve bu yüzden turistlere kiraladığınızı düşünmüştüm ama yanılmışım. Benim için otoparkın rahat olması dışında bir avantajı olmadı.

Duvarlardan midir havalandirmadan midir, gece 3 e kadar yan odadakileri dinledik. Hem de bagirmamalarina ragmen. Sanki ayni odadaymisiz gibi. Olacak sey degil. Bir de klimayi kapatamiyorsunuz. Yazin soguk kisin sicak ufluyormus. Baska ayari yokmus. Bir de tam olarak kapanmiyor malesef. Elektrik icin takilan anahtari cikardim oyle kapandi ancak. Ucretsiz otoparki mevcut, ortakoy merkeze 15 dk yurume mesafesinde. Temizlik superdi, 2 puani onun icin verdim
