Location is great, all the staff are wonderful especially concierge, breakfast manager and cleaning staff (Aung🙏). We did have a couple of incidents (guests being extremely disrespectful and noisy at night) and feel the situation could have been handled better. We were able to speak to the GM about this and he was very kind, professional and helpful.

Travelled with family of four so booked two rooms. Centrally located to visit all of the main attractions and for shopping. Clean property with all of the amenities, good size rooms especially for families but king bed was very uncomfortable due to the dip in the middle. Had issue with rain shower but it was eventually fixed. I would recommend staying here due to its location, cleanliness and amenities.

I cannot rave enough about this place. Right in the heart of Taksim Square. Amazing staff- Onur helped me with the check-in process. There was also a night manager working the morning of March 19 (Can’t remember the name) he was also super amazing. Because of the time difference my daughter had woken up around 4am, so we went to the lobby to see if anything was available to eat or drink. He kindly offered us juices and coffee for myself and then told us to go for the suhoor that was starting shortly. A highly recommended place to stay solo or with family.

After a long travel day, we were lucky enough to meet the supervisor, Hatice, at the front desk after we checked in. She was extremely welcoming and helpful with any of our requests. The rooms were spotless and beautiful, the spa was immaculate and the service was just outstanding! We are frequent guests of Sofitel in Dubai and San Francisco, so experiencing the wonderful service, especially by Hatice, has made us excited to come back in a few months!

When we entered the room and saw the surprise gift hotel team had prepared, we was absolutely delighted. It was clear that this was not something put together casually, but a gift prepared with great care and thoughtfulness. On top of that, the Bosphorus view is great and stunning. Choosing Sofitel was truly the best decision :) I would like to sincerely thank all the staff for the warm hospitality, especially Cansu and Tibet.

Absolutely loved my stay!

Absolutely loved my stay! From the moment I arrived, the staff were so friendly and welcoming – it really made me feel at home. The breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh options to choose from. The location couldn’t be better if you want to stay right in the center of Taksim. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Istanbul!

Everything about this hotel is first-class. The rooms are well-appointed and have great views (most of them). The staff is well-informed and unfailingly courteous and professional. Special praise for Muzaffer, the room attendant on the 4th floor. He was efficient, professional, and very friendly. I should that in general the location is excellent— many shops and restaurants within walking distance.
