Best location

This hotel has one of the best location in Taksim, very easy to find and in the middle of the square. The staf is friendly but the main problem is that the furniture is old, which look unclean and dirty. The management need to take this point in consider because no one would like to sit in a dirty room. The carpets and bed sheets need to be changed immediately.

Great location but old and unclean hotel

The photos in the website is totally different, the room was not clean, u can see the dust in the corners, the carpet was dirty, no tissues in the toilet!! I was disappointed when i saw the hotel it's totally different than what i saw in the website!! The only advantage of this hotel is the location, it's in Taksim Square and too close to the metro station. The hotel's shuttle driver was so kind and friendly.. Ramadan was the best person in this whole experience of this hotel!

Good hotel but poor online customer service

Good hotel and breakfast with excellent location right on the dot in the center of. the infamous Taksim Square in Istanbul. However, due to Hotels' poor customer service over the phone on the part of of Hotels I got the wrong type of accomodation. I asked for a 4-star room but upon checking in I was given a no-view budget type room - no wonder the initial price was cheap at about RM200 per night. So I had to upgrade with extra cost @ US$55 per night. for the type of room I wanted. Other than that Ottoman Palace Taksim Square was great.

Great location, friendly staff

The title says it all. Right in the middle of Taksim Square. My hotel room window overlooked Taksim Square perfectly. There was quite a bit of road noise (Taxis honking, people yelling, etc.) since we were on the 2nd floor but I wasn't in the room all that much during the day and stayed out pretty late. Having a room on a higher floor may have reduced the noise a bit. Every single member of the staff were friendly and helpful. I read that they were not in prior reviews but this was not my experience. They even let us leave our bags their prior to our room being prepped for us while we toured Istanbul. I would definitely stay here again.

The manager is not good and not client oriented, you feel like in prison. They are not client oriented, no request where answered, each request made their faces very unpleasant. First time I see such staff in Istanbul

Ottoman Palace Best Ever

I really liked Ottoman Palace. It was very special and it made me precious memories. Hotel Service was excellent especially Nacati, the bell boy was very kind that I would like to mention. All the service was very good overall and I really want to appreciate and give thanks to the managers, front, and even cleaner. Thanx all!

Un peu décu par l,accueil

Séjour un peu timide à cause de la froideur des personnels de la reception. Arrivée à 16 H il a fallu attendre deux heures de temps pour avoir des chambres alors qu,elles étaient supposées etre pretes à 14 h.
