Family trip in early April
"We are family of four with two small kids (4and 6) we have stayed in their separate apartment- it has two rooms and great living space. Flat/ apartment was very comfortable and had all we needed , you are in the heart of Rovaniemi and everything is close from the food stores to restaurants and any travel agency for day trips. We have use BeyondArctic (they had a discount if you stay in hostel).
Our breakfast was included and it’s plenty of choice (all continental) , but what was the best that we could have a hot buffet lunch after all our morning trips at the hostel (ps is very popular with locals and gets very busy , so sometimes you have to wait for a table , but most people are here on their break and don’t take long). Buffet was different every day and we found things for our kids and us , meaning we could just relax (kids eats free!!!)
Overall great place , friendly staff , amazing location and we were often just hanging out on the swings inside the restaurant/reception while kids were playing in a little play area with lots of toys. "

"It was a perfect 4-night stay. The email communication for check in and check out instructions was excellent. The studio was spacious, quiet and clean with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The location was convenient and close to everything. It is walkable to the city center for places to eat, do grocery shopping and tour pickup. It was a perfect stay."

"Best option for value, location and comfort. I arrived close to midnight and the staff were so welcoming. Public bus to/ from airport and Santa’s village are a few blocks away. Just pay with a credit card. 2 shopping centers within 2 blocks and a 12-15 minute walk to the Articles Garden to see the Northern Lights. Sauna is warm 6-9 pm and unisex. Very nice. Bed was comfy and bathroom large and warm. Definitely worth iit and affordable. "

"This is a former Olympic training center now used by local youth as a full time training facility so there's a LOT of kids and families staying here but everyone was polite and well behaved. There was no nonsense. There are two food facilities on site - a snack bar that has sandwiches, burgers and snacks and the cafeteria used to feed the athletes and provide the free breakfast. Both were very good. I highly recommend the in-room sauna rooms if you can get them. Note this is an easy to get to place from the airport but there is nothing within walking distance. Beds are very comfortable but there's no way to turn up the heat in the rooms. TV is very limited. You'll be Uber'ing to town and every where else from here. But thats not a deal braker. it was a good place to stay."

"Location is great. Behind the hotel is the river with beautiful views, in front is a bus stop to Santa Claus village. Multiple restaurants and stores around and close to city center. It's just that we refused cleaning but housekeeper came anyway while we were out. "
