"The hotel was in a great location. We were able to walk to a lot of the places we wanted to see and the activities we planned. The breakfast was delicious. There was always a wide variety of options. The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the Amerikalinjen for your stay in Oslo."

"For most this will be a non issue, but the TVs are quite old, and they have overhauled them with their own hotel interface, unfortunately for a tech head like me it made it harder to connect devices. They have Chromecast, but you'd better prey your device has it. The safe wouldnt work, and even the phone in the room (the style over substance red phone) would ring but when you picked up it wouldn't answer. The smart tech in the room seemed to have a life of its own, opening and shutting blinds...

"If you’re looking for a self serve easy access location to park your things and get a comfy bed, this is it. The apartment was spacious, although no real natural light, it still was a great stay and recommend it."

"The hotel is extremely large snd well located. Our room was comfortable but there was no desk which we missed. The breakfasts were copious but there were so many people eating at the same time that it was not relaxing. Parking was available but it was extremely costly. The hotel is appropriate for conventions but for pure vacations I would stay elsewhere in Oslo."
