The Farm. Entire house country stay

"Very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. There was plenty of cutlery and crockery for all 6 of us and lots of games and puzzles available. Owner was very responsive to messages and very helpful. Will definitely book again next time we plan a getaway in the area."

"We had a wonderful stay and found the property to be a great choice for our extended family get-together. With six bedrooms, there was plenty of room for everyone, and the large kitchen and living areas made it very easy for us all to spend time together.The house was lovely and warm, which was particularly appreciated during the cold winter weather. The fireplace and bedroom heating were both very welcome, and the games room and spa were a big hit with the family.The property is very well suited to a large family or group and we really enjoyed our time together there.The main downside is that the house is starting to feel quite tired and would benefit from some updating. The interior is also quite dark, and we found we needed to have the lights on even during the day. Some of the kitchen equipment, particularly the frying pans and saucepans, are well overdue for replacement.Overall, we had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. We also greatly appreciated being given a late checkout, which allowed us to enjoy our final morning without feeling rushed and was a lovely way to finish our stay.With a little updating and attention to some of the smaller details, this could be an even better property for large family gatherings."

"Beautiful property with wonderful hosts who really made us feel at home. It was lovely to see such high-quality local products in the bathroom, as well as the wonderful selection of local jams at breakfast. The breakfasts were delicious, with very generous portions. The fire in the lounge each evening was the perfect way to wind down after a day of hiking and wine tasting. We’re already looking forward to a return trip! Thank you, Shelly and Andrew, for a wonderful stay, the interesting chats, and for taking such good care of us. Andy"

"Cherry Blossom Cottage is cosy while still feeling spacious for a group of six adults. The property is on a quiet street just a short walk from the main centre, perfect if you're after peace but still want a good coffee and pastry for brekkie. It has a big yard and beautiful outdoor seating spaces near the spa so adults can linger while the kiddos burn off energy. The kitchen is fully equipped and spacious and the lounge room fireplace is a dream on cold nights. Karen sent us all the info we needed ahead of time so check in/ out was smooth. Bedrooms are again spacious with unique cosy decor and super comfy beds and -yay!- electric blankets for the winter nights. Would stay again in a heartbeat! The Cottage is a gem...perfect for a peaceful break in Stanthorpe."

"Beautiful cottage, super comfy and cosy with lovely decor, we loved it and felt very much at home there. The only negative feedback I would give is that the entry up the back stairs doesn’t match the high standard one finds inside. The stairs are covered in bird poo and look like they need a good scrub. The back verandah could do with a wash too. And the front garden desperately needs weeding. Otherwise everything was perfect and I would highly recommend this property."

"We had a lovely stay overall. The property was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The fairy lights outside were a really nice touch and made the place feel cosy in the evenings. It was also great to find somewhere that welcomed dogs. If you’re travelling with a pet, just keep in mind there’s not a lot of indoor space and no undercover outdoor area, which could make things a little tricky if it’s raining. The property is quite secluded, which is perfect if you’re looking for peace and quiet."
