"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Photos of this property are accurate—it’s new, very clean, comfortable furniture, quiet & safe-feeling setting. It’s a distance from Acadia Nat’l Park, but it was a good hub for other exploration in the area. The “welcome book” was very helpful for local and beyond attractions and resources. The kitchen is stocked for basic food prep, but bring your own spices if you like more than salt and pepper. It would have been helpful to have a map of the trails (we should have messaged host to provide), and would suggest the host provide the key box location when sending the code. Thank you for making our time in Maine feel like home away from home!"

"We could have stayed put on the property watching the activity on the harbor, birds and other wildlife. I loved discovering wildflowers and stargazing, but there is so much to do and see in the vicinity. Lunch on the Wharf is just a walk away. Schoodic Point, part of Acadia National Park, is close by. Ellsworth is about a half hour’s drive. Winter Harbor is not far, with the 5&10 and Gerrish’s….and you must eat at Chase’s.Pam Bridges is very helpful, easy to communicate with, providing what you need….even wood for the fire pit. We slept on the queen bed upstairs, which was very comfortable. Our only problem was that we both have to get up to get to the bathroom at night. So we prefer to have a bathroom on the same floor. If that is not your concern, you will greatly enjoy this place!It was so nice to be able to have our dog with us.This place is small enough for a couple, but it can accommodate a few more in a pinch, with a full size bed in the upstairs room along with the queen bed, and a pull-out bed downstairs. In warm weather. Dining for four can be in the screened in porch, but it was perfect for just us two.We wanted a small place in the Schoodic area, and this fit the bill."

"The view itself was priceless. The cottage was very clean. It did have a little step down going into the bedroom that I wasn’t aware of and almost fell. The shower is really tiny. The directions to the cottage had said something about seeing a sign to stay right, but turn left. There wasn’t any stay right sign that we saw. The cottage also said it was secluded but there is 2 neighbors. The trees block them but you can hear the kids playing, etc. On the other side we saw a man outside our window taking pictures of the sunset. The communication with the housekeeper was awesome. We definitely got plenty of relaxation in and did someFishing. We didn’t catch anything but enjoyed ourselfs."

"Beautiful and quiet location. We really enjoyed the ocean and seeing both sunrise and sunset. We heard lots of wildlife and enjoyed the privacy. The home isn't kept in the best condition. Torn linoleum and screens. Wobbly dining table (which my son tightened) and worn deck boards and railings. Disorganized and not always clean kitchen utensils and dishes."
