"We always stay here on our way up to Seattle. Much more affordable than staying in the city itself always clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast friendly staff, pool and hot tub. It’s right off the freeway and close to lots of food, gas, etc.."

"We had a great stay at the property.. The water view and the view of Mt Rainier was fantastic.. The property owner had everything we needed for our stay.. everything was well stocked, the property was very clean and very much as advertised.. we saw seals, sea lions, porpoises, a bald eagle and so many deer and trains going down the tracks we quit counting.. we would most definitely stay again! You won't be disappointing booking this property."

"The house was extremely clean, which we certainly appreciated. Some of the sheets were a bit worn but the host supplied new ones within a short period of time. We were there for a full month, so our needs are probably different than many short-term renters. For example, there didn’t seem to be a simple way to get rid of our trash which was a sort of surprising. However, we worked with the host and he was helpful. The host was very accommodating on a couple of other minor matters early in our stay. All in all, all of our guests during the month, found the house to be very comfortable."

"I watched seals and Canadian geese go by right from the patio. The beach walking with my dog was great. Deer in the yard at night. A peaceful spot of nature's finest gifts!The cabin is comfortable and rustic. The host was very accommodating. It was great!"

"As advertised. My only issue is the significant inconvenience of the ferry. If you plan to stay on the island and rarely leave, all is good. If you plan for daily excursions, the ferry to and from is a major inconvenience."
The cottage by the lake

"Lake front and what a gorgeous view of the lake!! The view alone is worth staying here. Lovely, large grassy area, (yet private and quiet) where the kids kicked the soccer ball around when they weren’t in the lake. Our 5 year old dog loved this yard too. Easy access into the lake from the dock and ladder. We all swam. House was clean - sure it could use a deeper cleaning and new carpet in the den, but I don’t know any rental that doesn’t need a little TLC. We cooked and used the propane grill- they had everything we needed. Cannot wait to return!!"
