Everything about our stay was amazing. The room was beautiful and spacious - very clean and tidy and smelt amazing. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked perfectly. Our hostess was amazing and so friendly. If we are ever up north again we will be booking in again!
Great place with lovely ambiance. Host was great and very helpful. Booking the parking across the road was well worth it for peace of mind. Little hard to find somewhere nice to eat for dinner for a sit down meal, but as takeaways go the Sun Noodle place was pretty good. Would recommend Left Bank.

My thoughts
Be great when the hotel gets all facilities sorted. Bar, restaurant and open hours
Left Bank has been beautifully restored and decor matches the theme. Nice china cups & saucers in the room. Enough power outlets. No shelf in bathroom for make up, etc. Very helpful host. Lovely stay.
Wonderful boutique hotel, staff very friendly and welcoming! Couldn't ask for more! Had dinner at the hotel which was delicious! Thanks for a great experience
It is great for an area ike Kaikohe and we wish the team well in their endeavours o

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
At around 11pm the first night we stayed a drunk and very angry man could be heard screaming downstairs and tossing furniture. The entire town is rundown with next to no amenities. Skip this one.
This hotel has been updated sympathetically and is quite charming in a town that is struggling. A good location for bike rides (Twin Coast), the room was airy, large, clean and pleasant. On arrival you call the number and a pleasant lady appeared and handled everything with charm and capability. Car is parked in good lock up area behind police station. Downsides were limited places open later to eat and noisy cars and “drag” racers in street at night. Lots of twoing & froing with keys but all worked well.
Great location on the Twin Coast bike trail, super-friendly staff, secure bike storage, nicely restored building converted to heritage hotel - very comfortable
My partner and I stayed here 1 night whilst doing the twin coast cycle trail and I wish we'd spent at least another night here. The whole place has been amazingly restored and extremely clean. Our room was very large and the room and the bathroom were beautiful. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. We had dinner at the restaurant during our stay and although it wasn't cheap the food was amazing and worth the price. The restaurant / cafe had a good range of unique teas. I would definitely stay here again. The place would be ideal as a base to explore the east and west coast or for a relaxing escape.
Most staff amazing but on checking out we were not allowed to settle our account until 8.30 am which was lucky as we were not in a rush to leave.
Our dinner was overpriced and my dishes tasted odd- sadly couldn’t recommend this place for dining but my husband who had been in February said the meal was better when he visited.
