"The rooms were older but absolutely spotless and clean as a whistle. Probably the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in tbh. The only downside was the stairs were quite steep so I wouldn’t recommend it to older people unless they were on the ground floor. Also the auto check in is probably a bit difficult for someone older however very efficient if you are tech savvy. Lovely and close to amenities as well, opposite the beach and pelican feeding. Fantastic place overall!"

"Place was great. Had everything we needed. None of my family like seafood so we took our own food. Needs to be more variety on menus in places for kids and adults who hate seafood and fish. Caretaker was awesome. Central, easy access to get out and explore, need more toilet paper and upgrade basics but over all I would definitely stay again, now I'm more prepared whats there. Fantastic stay."

Well maintained yard & outdoor are with a BBQ & a fish cleaning station if you are into fishing. Also plenty of room to park your boat if you have one. Walking distance to town & the shops. Had everything that you needed for cooking meals. The house had old style charm, it made me think of being at my parents place in country Victoria. There's seating on the verandah out the front so you can watch the sunset or look out at the ocean/river with a coffee in the morning. At night from the front & backyard you can look up and gaze at the stars.The only downside was that we found a dead mouse in the washing machine & mouse droppings in the pantry & under the bed pillows in the main bedroom. It was something that we easily sorted out ourselves & had no signs of mice for the rest of our stay.The National Park gorges & skywalk are a must see, as well as the ocean & river views. We had a lovely Chinese meal on our last night in Kalbarri from the Golden Wok."
