"A lovely hotel with nice decor. Ozuwa (apologies if I spelt her name wrong) was very very kind, welcoming and helpful in our check in process. She was amazing. Fantastic extras include a welcome drink, and the option of Ramen or ice cream between 8 and 10 PM. A memorable addition to the hotel stay!"

"A charming hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms and a perfect location — just two blocks from the castle and within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and charming little shops. The only downside is that the breakfast doesn’t offer many Western options, but overall, we really enjoyed our stay!"

From the atmosphere to the little touches throughout my stay, everything contributed to a unique and memorable experience. It was clear that a lot of care and attention went into creating such a wonderful environment. I left with great memories and would happily return in the future."

"The Celecton is a nice, standard Japanese hotel. The rooms are small, but they are practical, very clean and amenities are good. If you want a hotel that is close to the Castle then this is a good one, but it is 10-15 minutes walk to the train station, restaurants, and the other attractions in Matsumoto. My room was facing the Castle but directly above a busy road, so it was quite noisy."
