Hotel is perched atop hill just outside of town. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby and the town is a nice 20 stroll down the hill. Staff hooked us up with a great driver for day trip to Sigiriya. "Hotel was comfortable, safe, and they had onsite driver accommodations (apparently a thing in Sri Lanka). We didn't get to stay here long enough, and there was a festival that made the streets incredibly crowded. I wish we had the chance to explore the area more, however we made our way down (per the hotel's recommendation) to dinner at Hideout Lounge, and then back to the hotel. "Great location right in the middle of Kandy city by city center and lots of shops and restaurants. Staff very helpful and friendly, even upgraded my room and immediately sent someone when there was a minor leak in the AC to fix promptly. Amazing buffet breakfast, clean sheets and tidy room"
