"Parking is easy, check in and check out was the fastest I’ve ever experienced at any hotel. The main room when you walk in is beautiful. The building has such character. I loved the creaky floors and historical pieces around the hotel. We stayed in room 111, which had two bedrooms. The room had a mini fridge, like the kind for kitchenettes, bigger than most hotels. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom had two sinks. Loved the makup towels provided! The sheets could stand to be replaced. A bit old and have marks. Same with the towels that had stains. The toilet could have been cleaner. If you bent down and looked at the rim, it wasn’t clean."

"Love love love the home and most importantly the peace that came with the property, you can feel the stress and pressure just release as you listen to the river flow on by. I didn’t think my husband was ever going to leave the front porch unless it was an attempt to fish lol The home is amazing with everything you could imagine available (extremely clean and host was great)we loved the games and hidden gems to enjoy never a dull moment and if outside adventure you crave there is just too much to do from hiking to water adventures please trust me I don’t do many reviews and was highly afraid to rent due to the horror stories that are out there. WOW so happy we did this and will definitely go back can’t say thank you enough memories of a lifetime! Ps: cell services is spotty in the Adirondacks but the home has amazing WiFi and TVs with excellent service if you are afraid of not being connected we choose to unplug and this is the perfect place to escape the rat race!"

"Best place to stay in town but you will pay more for it. Front desk staff was excellent. Housekeeping was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good but the staff in the restaurant need help or training. Not great at all. Overall, I would stay there again because the others in the area scare me."

"New, clean, comfortable and well appointed home that had an excellent layout for 5 adults. Location on the lake was ideal and the hosts were very nice, with terrific communication. The dock was a really nice bonus-we could keep our boat right at the house for the week. We’d definitely stay here again."

"This was our second stay at the cabin. We love the rustic style and isolated location, with everything you need a short ride away. The wrap around porch was great for stargazing and listening to owls at night. We definitely will be visiting again."

"A wonderful family vacation place! We found the house to be as-advertised, large enough for the 12 of us, including 3 small kids. The big upstairs deck feels like a beautiful tree-house in the large surrounding oaks that rise up from the river bank - a perfect place to sit with family at any time of day or night and enjoy nature. There is quite a bit of boat traffic on the river on the weekend, but it was still very nice for swimming off the dock. The host was very competent and responded quickly the one or two times that we did have questions. The beds were all quite comfortable. Overall, we really liked the place quite a lot and created some indelible good memories!"

"Not bad overall, however there was no hammock that was pictured, no fire ring which I thought would be on the beach and the beach area was a little over grown. House was nice for our family of 6, very comfortable."
