"I booked this room through Wotif at 8:38pm on the same night as required, my booking was confirmed via email, followed by a second email asking how check in went. Unfortunately when I arrived at midnight I was unable to check in as reception closed at 8:00pm. I spent the next hour and half ringing around motels to secure a bed for the night, which I finally accomplished and got into bed at 2:02am.. I accept that reception closed at 8pm, but it was not communicated in the email correspondence or on the Wotif booking site.. It is an oversight on behalf of the motel , but incredibly inconvenient at my arrival time. The motel is refunding my payment "
