Got a room with two extra bedrooms. The first one that we went into the extra bedrooms, didn’t have doors on them so I went downstairs to ask if they have the same suite with the doors on the extra bedrooms so we could have the privacy we needed. And they accommodated me. I like this hotel. I would stay here again. Parking is $20 though and $100 deposit.

The room was spacious, but lacked some basics that I am used to. Our room did not have a hair dryer, one lamp didn’t work, there was only one garbage can for a large suite, there was no power outlet near the bathroom sink, and there was a tv in the bedroom but not the living room. That being said, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchette was modern, and the hotel was quiet.

The only disappointment was the fact that parking was an extra $20. I don’t feel like this was mentioned online and I didn’t know until we arrived. By then, what would we do? No. You just pay the extra $20 and get irritated about it.

We did not appreciate the fact that we had to pay $20 to park for 1 night. We were told that other hotels in KC area had to pay to park as well, and we have stayed in other hotels in the last 3 months and have not ever had to pay one time. We we were very unhappy with that.

The renovation of the hotel is not bad bjt the upkeep is a bit questionable. Despite having kitchenette there is no cooking tools whatsoever. It was a comfortable stay with decent breakfast.

My room was nothing like any of the photos. I wanted a room like the photos but instead i got a very small carpeted room. The walls were dirty, the carpet was dirty, the couch was dirty. Neither tv worked. The only good thing about this hotel was that it was walking distance to the venue. But they charged for parked, and they took a $100 deposit that i wasn't prepared to pay. I will NOT stay at this hotel again!
