A few paces from the beach, your condo is also within walking distance to Coconut Marketplace. You’ll love the easy access to the entire island from the desirable East Coast location!

Located in the Lobby Building, your ground-floor studio condo is filled with thoughtful touches. Enjoy morning coffee on your private lanai, with a view of the ocean and lush tropical gardens (the lanai is four feet above ground). Whip up beach snacks in the kitchenette - with a sink, microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker. Extras include AC, complimentary WiFi, TV, and a walk-in shower.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Beautiful place with great amenities!

Absolutely loved the patio and easy access to the pool, hot tub, poolside bar, and the beach. We even got to see some monk seals on the beach :) Room was clean with a lovely welcome basket and plenty of beach towels!

Kaua’i stay

Could not get tv to work. Called three times and no results. On third day finally had a guy show up to fix problem. So 3 days could not use it and relax in evening.? I would appreciate compensation on my charges as have never had this happen before and the long response time

Cute studio in Kapa'a

We loved the resort where this condo was located. We spent every evening sitting in the lounge chairs provided to watch the sunset oceanside. This particular studio, while lovely, was a bit cramped for us, after having stayed in a more spacious 2 bedroom right before this stay, especially because there were 2 beds in the space and we really only needed one. Pay attention to the high fees associated with this rental - I'm not sure how I didn't notice while booking, but we ended up spending more than twice as much as the "per night" rate because of all the fees and taxes!

Such a nice spot with everything we needed. Not big — it’s a studio, wouldn’t work if you wanted to cook a bunch— but has a frig, coffee maker (not Keurig, thank you!), microwave, toaster. Loved that the grocery store was really close, and restaurants. Very walkable, quiet place. The lanai is nice but it doesn’t open directly onto the lawn. The ocean is visible if you stand up and look through the trees. Lovely landscaping. Thoughtful touches like beach towels and chairs and lots of storage space.

A Piece of Paradise

The property was exactly as advertised with bonuses of sunrises & sunsets nearby. The bed was comfortable; shower was hot; plenty of dishes though we did not cook; beach chairs & towels were convenient; & the pool was so close to this condo. We hate to leave but Maui calls!

Location Location Location

We loved our stay at The Islander in Wailua. We are travelers and like to explore, so being in the middle of the East Side was perfect for us. It was a 45-minute drive to Na Pali Coast and an hour to Waimai. The shops at Coconut Grove provides easy access to essentials, and the town of Kapaa offers great restaurants and shops to choose from. I would definitely recommend Wailua and The Islander and we hope to return soon.

Great location

The complex is centrally located for exploring by car and right next to a market, food and some free cultural shows. There is also a killer coffee place steps away and then a bar at the pool for later. There was a problem w sliding door being hard to open and safe not working. They got fixed but I left a message Sat and never heard back until I called again myself Tuesday. Beware of heavy traffic going South practically all day but it’s brief.

Overall was a great place to stay. Only very small issue was a broken sliding door and small amounts of mud on the wall. I want to put this in because house cleaning and maintenance fixed everything very quickly. I loved this ground unit especially

Clean and comfortable king bed. Beautiful grounds and easy access to shopping, restaurants, and of course the ocean. East facing for awesome sunrise over the ocean. Central island. Easy drive to South and North shores

Room was fine TV wasn't.

The only tv remote in the room was the one for the cable, witch was also supposed to turn the TV on, it wouldn't. The TV did not have any switches at all and there was no remote for the TV itself. We were there over the new year period and wanted to watch some of the bowl games. Disappointed in that aspect.

A little piece of heaven

Today I check out after a week and a half stay. I'm going to miss the beautiful view, the sound of the waves, the birds chirping, even the roosters. This unit is beautiful and spacious for two people, though sleeps 3 maybe 4. Kitchenette is convenient. The location is perfect and love that it is walking distance to the Coconut Marketplace. Already booking for another stay next year.

Such a beautiful property. The beach was foot steps away. Pool and bar foot steps away, Food and shopping right there. The condo was cute. Cant wait to go back.

This property was well situated and priced competitively

This property is only a short 15 minute drive from Lihue airport and is situated in Wailea on a beach front. However, like us, you may need to drive to other beaches if you want to swim in the sea. Although the property is located on a beach front, the beach at the Islander was not swimmable during our entire stay due to strong waves and dangerous undertow. In addition, there were no lifeguards and we found jellyfish washed up on the shore on some days. It should be mentioned that other peoples experience be different from ours depending on the time of the year. You may want to ask the property manager for more information regarding this.

Great view and easy access to the entire island!

This floor level condo did not disappoint! Spent many early mornings and late evenings in lounge chairs right on the beach just steps from our unit. Bed was comfy and the air conditioner worked great! The slider to the lanai could you some wd40 it was tough to open but other then that it was great! We would definitely stay here again!

Great place, but…

This was a great place to stay, but I really don’t understand the policy which does not allow everyone to use the on-site coin operated laundry facilities. Those who don’t rent directly from Aston are told they must take their things to a laundromat which is more than a mile away. Since we did not have a car and taxis and ride shares wouldn’t provide service for such short excursions, we would have had to carry our laundry there and back on foot. It seems like a silly policy since the machines are coin operated and everyone would pay to do their wash. Other than that, the room was clean, the grounds were beautiful, the beach and pool were lovely. I would stay here again, but pack for my entire stay rather than planning to do laundry half way through my trip.
