"Just got back from a lovely week staying at Anemona apartments. The apartments are basic and clean with comfortable beds and outdoor pool area and sunbeds is lovely. There are great views of the mountains from the pool and it is a short 1/2 a mile walk into the beautiful village of Katelios which is directly on the beach. We stayed for one week and got fresh towels and the maid thoroughly gave the room a clean. Katelios is beautiful and quiet and there are a number of restaurants to chose to eat at. We didn’t have one bad meal. The beach is lovely and sandy and you can walk for miles out into the shallow clear sea. There is a little pool bar opposite apartments but we didn’t hear any noise whatsoever. The bakery is a short walk away and they do the most delicious pastries and they have a seating area where you can enjoy a coffee. We would definitely come back and we highly recommend Anemona to people who like peace, relaxation, walks, nature and good food. "

"What a Villa, what an island. A beautiful, relaxed, and wonderful place to unwind. A beautiful villa in lovely surroundings. The village, within walking distance, has supermarket, beach and lovely bars and restaurants. The perfect place to relax. Lovely people, lovely island. We will return!"

"Its a nice property in a quaint village. Had 2 water outages which resulted in marginal water quality. Was told the water pump needed to be replaced. Don't know if this has occured.The TV/stereo was worthless. Nothing worked. Get new stuff that works.The range top hood wasn't even wired to power and had no exhaust duct attached.The linens had so much soap scent to them it was kinda uncomfortable.We contacted the rental agency and got lots of apologies but nothing was ever resolved. We were there for 6 days.If they would get the above issues resolved this would be a very nice place to stay.We loved Kefalonia and this area. Fix your problems owners....."
