"In all the years I’ve been coming to Mendocino, I had never heard of this place. It showed up on an Expedia search and now it will be the first place I will look to stay when I go to Mendocino. My adult daughter and I went, along with my dog. We got a dual queen economy room that ended up having a king size bed and a queen size bed. It was huge! The shower was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. the linens were great and it was very quiet and peaceful. We took pictures of fantastic sunsets. This spot is about 3/4 of a mile from the Mendocino downtown area. You are literally there in a split second. I only have two complaints. No grab bars in the tub, which are a must in my opinion. And the TV was all streaming, with no major TV news channels. But maybe that’s a good thing in today’s world. Stay here. You won’t be disappointed."

"I completely agree with all the other very positive reviews! The next time I go to Mendocino. I will certainly see if this property is available! However, there are a few points worth mentioning:The bed is extremely comfortable and the hardness is adjustable. However, the height of the bed is very high, which could be an issue for people with mobility problems. Be careful not to lock yourself out! The main door will automatically lock after a few seconds. So if you're going in and out onto the deck, have the code with you or make sure the kitchen door is unlocked. Don't expect to do much cooking here. The kitchen is very small as you can see. If you bring in a rotisserie chicken and some salad, you'll be fine. But don't expect to cook full meals. The TV is very small and not “smart” (internet connected). It has cable, and you can reach Prime and YouTube. Internet for your phone or laptop is fine.If these aren't issues for you, go and stay at this beautiful and private cottage!"
