"The grounds are beautiful and kept up very nicely. We had a view to the river but the room we stayed in was felt dark and dated. We had a tiny spider in the bed and called the front desk to let them know. They said river spiders are common being so close to the river. We could have brought it him in on us but I don't know. They came and sprayed around the bed since there were no other rooms available. The employees were very nice. "

"Very cute little cottage and you get 2 adorable and very friendly ponies that come with it. We had our 2 midsize dogs with us and it was very pet friendly. Very good road to take them for walks, hardly any traffic and everyone is very friendly waving and saying hello. There are other dogs that come running to the fence down the road but they stay in their yards, just a heads up. Chelley, the host, was very friendly and was ready for our arrival. We didn’t use the pool, so can’t speak to that. The kitchen cupboards are very high and I’m on the short side, almost 5’3”, and I couldn’t reach the bowls so my husband had to fetch them for me which was kinda funny. So if you’re shorter than me and alone you probably won’t be able to reach high enough to get in the cupboards and use the microwave. We enjoyed our stay and it was a great location for what we needed."

"There was no lightbulb in the bathroom. Tv remote didn’t work. There was markers or something in the sheets. Plus there was at least 16 cockroaches I saw"

"The room appeared to be clean however the bathroom needs to be updated. There is a fan in the bathroom that is extremely loud. The check in staff was very pleasant."

"I got down to the breakfast hall about 15 minutes before breakfast was over. The pancake dispenser was out of batter. I went to notify the front desk and nobody was there. I started trying to wrestle up something else for breakfast. There was preformed scrambled egg patties, and sausage patties. The eggs were awful. So I was really hoping for some pancakes. When the young Hispanic lady at the front desk with piercings and tattoos finally showed up, I had informed her that the pancake dispenser was out of batter. She told me directly after that that it was 9 AM and she would be cleaning up the breakfast and it was over anyways. I looked at my watch and it was seven minutes till. I informed her that I had been waiting and it had been out for the last 15 minutes. To that she did not respond. Also in my room, I had grabbed the nightstand next to the bed and pulled it over towards the chair so I could have a little table to eat at while watching TV. Behind the nightstand, I found a 3 inch long, purple straw that I can only assume was used for doing drugs. Not a great experience."

"Staff was lovely upon arrival. My friend and I were traveling with our medical alert service dogs and our two pets. We had no issues with accommodation. They were very friendly and welcoming, had all the recommendations for restaurants! Room 207 had bedbugs. We always inspect our rooms before fully settling in and I'm glad we did. Man at the counter was quick to move us over to a different room and offered to wash our laundry as a courtesy. We didn't have any issues with the new room in regards to bedbugs and we weren't bit throughout our stay. The floors in the new room were grimy, the door looked like it had been kicked in, the neighbors were a bit creepy, and the room smelled musty. Overall, it was a below average trip, but staff was nice. The bedbugs kind of ruined the whole vibe. "
