This exquisite straw bale home is perfect for a wine country getaway. The patio, outdoor fireplace, and grill overlook the beautiful yard surrounding the home and the local mountains. You will have a full kitchen, dining area, and a comfortable TV room. The home also has Netflix streaming and cable. The home is heated by radiant floor heating and a fireplace. It's been designed to keep the home cool in the summer and warm in the winter, so there's no place better than this! Even if the cold weather is too much, there is a wood fireplace available in the living room area. On warm evenings, enjoy picturesque sunsets before heading to bed.

In the heart of wine country, you will be surrounded by countless wineries and within an hour of Napa Valley. You will be just under ten miles from Santa Rosa, where you will find restaurants, shopping, and much more. Trione-Annadel, Sugarloaf Ridge, and Hood Mountain state parks are also in the immediate area. Just 15 miles south is the Jack London State Historic Park.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Nice common areas ( living and kitchen) but bedrooms had poor lighting. Outdoor furniture very disappointing as it was all dirty. We couldn’t even sit outside.

Nice home

This home has a beautiful living space with a gourmet kitchen. We were able to cook and enjoy our time there. The location was the main reason we selected the property. Oddly there was no TV in the main rooms, only in one of the bedrooms. The bedrooms were nice, although the beds and pillows were hard. There was insufficient lighting in most rooms. The bathroom trim was very rustic and looked shabby. Unfortunately we experienced a sewage back up in one of the bathroom showers. This ruined our stay.

A little disappointed

Doors locked poorly and came into unlocked doors, tacky caution sign on one door, no patio furniture built , dry pond, linen on master bedroom and towels had a smell . Scary Trap door in master closet not disclosed and not locked . Master toilet backed up into master shower drain . No window coverings in most rooms ., no ice in ice maker , needs maintenance for the property . Spider webs throughout house.

Kenwood Mess

The property was terrible. It did not match the description or pictures. Overall dirty, filthy carpets, door that did not lock, outside property dirty, no gas in BBQ, abandoned car in 1 of 3 parking spots, ...... We requested to be moved and Vacasa quickly did so. Although not in an ideal location for our plans, the property was better. They indicated they had complaints before and would remove the property from their offerings. They should inspect these properties prior to renting.

Yearly visit to wine country

The property itself was beautiful! I thought we had found our yearly rental; however, Vacasa has left a bad taste. the hot tub was listed as an amenity. I corresponded with the owner of the house to see why we had to pay an additional charge for the hot tub and his response was for upkeep. Up on arrival, the hot tub was full of frogs and other debris and I contacted Vacasa And was told that it was not listed as one of our amenities, however, in the handbook laying on the bar where the guidelines for usage of the hot tub. Vacasa quoted on the phone that they would refund the hot tub fee. To this day that has not been done. I would rent the house again if it was under another company, but I would never rent from Vacasa again.

Very disappointed

Very limited use out area - patio floor was filthy, furniture had mold - no cushions - furniture pushed up against wall with dirty cushions staked. Front lounge area was filthy and unusable. Spiders and cob webs inside, carpet dirty in mater bedroom. Some screens on doors unusable, a window in master was not working. Standing fan to use to circulate air did not work well. Cob webs and dirt on windows. Very disappointed!

Average quality

We booked this vrbo for the location and hot tub. When we arrived the yard was very overgrown and almost unrecognizable from the pictures provided online. The hot tub was dirty and not functioning. After we booked the listing was updated removing it but it’s still heavily discussed in the reviews. Very disappointed in this. The only tv is in the master bedroom and has 2 chairs to be used during viewing. Very poor lighting in master bath. Loud chicken farm next door. Other than that the kitchen was ok, decent grill and house was clean.

Huge Disaster

When we arrived we found the backdoor did not lock at all. We contacted the property management team but received no help. It's a pretty remote area so decided to just barricade the door and hope for the best. When my husband moved a small sofa to barricade the door, a huge lizard ran out from under it! It ran under the cabinets before we could do anything about it. At this point it was late and the baby was tired so my husband went to lie down with him while I continued to try to reach to management for help. He then told me that when he got to the bedroom he found animal feces all over the pillows of the bed. We were exhausted so we were determined to try to make this place work for at least the night. So we went to set up the pull out bed and found food and rat poop in that bed! This place was such a huge health and safety hazard we gave up, booked a hotel elsewhere and left. I'm still trying to get my money back for this disgusting place.

Vacasa 325 Hoff Road

There is no TV sitting room as listed. The TV is in the master bedroom with two chairs. The heating/cooling system is disappointing; very hot when we arrived and got too cold overnight. The management company has atrocious customer service. We notified them at check-in that the back door doesn't lock and the hot water spigot in the master doesn't work. We got lots of promises to send a repairman but no one came.

Property needs a lot of work

The location and layout of the house is great for Napa Wine tasting. Inside, the furniture could use updating - tears on furniture in living room. The hot water nozzle in the main bath did not work. The air did not work even after trying all the tips from the property manager. Outside, the property was a MESS!! The grass in the front yard was up to our knees (no exaggeration). We contacted the property manager and they said they would try to get it mowed, but no guarantee. It was not mowed while we were there. The back area was also overgrown (although not as bad as the front). The outdoor furniture was completely unusable. They were full of duck poop and debris from outside. The back patio furniture cushions were torn and tossed about...again, unusable. I would have given this property a better rating if they just would have tried to clean up the yard, but unfortunately, that was not the case. I saw a prior review about this same thing and the property manager replied that the weather in CA was the reason why it was in such disarray. This simply cannot be the case - I really wish I could upload pictures here. It is evident that this is ongoing issue. It's a shame it was in this shape because it would have been nice to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine around the pond.

Pluses: Location, setting, California Mission Architecture, Birds (egrets, heron), deer, Kitchen design and appliances, screens on doors and windows. Delta: no hot water in master bath sink, thick mold on back of house where wall meets outsite patio with evidence of flooding into living room, lots of broken unsafe pavers in front of house on two steps to door, possibly leaking toilet in master bath, only three tablespoons one teaspoon, lots of chipped dishes, kitchen utensils worse for wear, lots of bird dropping on outside chairs more than a few days worth. For the price they are charging they should fix this place up. It would be an incredibly lovely place if it was taken care of.

Needs a lot of TLC!!!!

Clean on inside, however the outside furniture is beyond needing to be replaced. The hot tub was green and had a disgusting brown ring around top (have photos). The screen door to the 2nd bedroom was broken -- this is the only access to air for this room - so you couldn't leave the doors open - as the screen would let various bugs and critters in. Could be a great house - but if you are going to list on VRBO -- it needs some upkeep to the common areas definitely.

Fantastic place with gorgeous views in the middle of wine country

This place was one of the most beautiful places that I've stayed in using any of the online house rentals. The views were gorgeous and the place was immaculate. Would highly recommend staying here if going to Sonoma/Napa.

Beautiful property

Beautiful & generally spacious comfortable property. A few maintenance items that could use a little attention - no hot water in sink in master bath, handle missing in other bathroom door, freezer leaked water when opened. We were able to report these issues the day after our arrival but maintenance could not be completed during our stay.

Weekend birthday

The house feels run down and dated with water damage on the floor in numerous areas.. The kitchen as well equipped as it looks with a built in espresso machine (bring whole beans if you plan to use) and warming drawer but something basic like the microwave was small, cheap and wobbly. Drinking glasses were few and small nothing substantial to make a cocktail or a big glass of water. The cooking utensils were cheap and both spatulas were melted, something housekeeping should see and replace. The master bathroom sink had the hot water turned off because it constantly runs otherwise. The back door did not lock easily and once we got it locked we didn't open it again. The house did get very cool and space heaters are throughout but caution with where you plug them in, there are labeled outlets but we still tripped a breaker. The hot tub was running and clean which I was leary of after reading previous messages. The house is near many wineries but a drive to town. Aside from these maintenence issues the house was clean and the stay was enjoyable.

Amazing Property

We enjoyed our stay here. It is a very beautiful property. We would definitely stay here again. There were a few easy-to-fix shortcomings that you will want to fix for future guests: 1. No hot water in the master sink. 2. Very short on silverware and drinking glasses. 3. No lids for the large cooking pans.
