Great Location, nice home that just needs some TLC
After having to relocate for a few months while our place on the central Florida west coast was being rehabbed after Ian, we found this cute home in KW.
This location is a 10, the neighbors were very nice and the house fit our needs. The hot tub was an added bonus and we used it often. Some recommendations to the VACASA company that manages this unit. 1. Since this is a monthly rental, it would be nice if one bedroom had a queen bed. I don't know any couples that still sleep in a full bed. While it does keep the spouse close at hand, it is very tight, even for a small couple. 2. There was no information in the house when we arrived, zero. The hot tub was not services for the two months we were there. We have a hot tub so we know what to do, but for others, it would be a big downer. The tub needs to have water added about every 5 days due to evaporation and it needs to be shocked and the floater refilled with bromine. 3. The back yard is very nice and private, but there is no sprinkler system outside, and had I not watered the plants frequently, like every other day, (only an hour of rain in the two months we were there) they would have all died prior to our departure. 4. No cleaning supplies provided other than a vacuum. 5. We had only 4 forks in the house when we arrived, bought more and brought them home. 5. Very few places to hang towels, etc, bought door towel hangers. 6. One of the shower heads leaked, again, bought one and took it home. 7. Outside of house and front porch were covered in dirt/dust on arrival. I spent about 3-4 hours washing the entire outside of the house, removing dozens of cacoon's from the siding and windows. 8. Wifi is spotty at best and terrible at worst. 9. TV is not hooked into cable, you have to use apps the entire time and cannot load new apps because it is password blocked.
In short, this house could be a real charmer if it were properly maintained. It might be fine as a weekly rental, but not for a long stay. Some tender loving care would really make a difference.
