Cute place. Very comfortable bed. Nice, clean. Not huge but everything we needed at a reasonable price. Easy access. Parking in front of our cabin/room. Hot breakfast. Close to restaurants in cute town of Keystone which is close to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer State Park.

The attendant was as super helpful, kind, and a very hard worker! He does it all - checking in, prepares all breakfast food, cleans the rooms, maintains the property…. All by himself! He deserves a a huge raise!! Property was quiet, convenient, affordable.

We found this place quite good for our needs. It was a decent budget hotel with the added benefit of a basic breakfast available, which is rare these days in budget accommodation. The staff were very helpful, and the location is just within walking distance of town, though better off driving. We would be happy to stay here again.

The host was amazing! He was super friendly and helpful and even ordered special breakfast items for our kids and the breakfast they offered was very good and great selection. The second we sat around the firepit, the host would come out and start the fire for us. We would definitely stay here again!

Rustic charm. Comfortable king bed, a bathroom that actually had room for everything! Parking in town limited, so we were 10 minutes' walk away from boardwalk with shops, restaurants and venues such as 1880 train, helicopter tours, etc. Large room with table and chairs, dresser for clothes, patio facing wooded hill. Rick, great, friendly manager/owner. Freshly painted outside and in. Gravel drive. Adequate breakfast, microwave, fridge, hair dryer, etc. And more reasonably priced. Stayed 4 nights, which was centrally located to all main attractions such as Mt Rushmore, Custer Park, Crazy Horse, Needles, Sylvan Lake, etc.

When we got there, the person who checked us in asked if a queen bed was big enough for me. I said yes, its me and husband and that's the same size bed we use at home. I'm not a super large person, so I was somewhat offended. Either that, or he was trying to upcharge to two queen beds. Besides that the room was relatively clean, but the towels were stained and looked like they were from the previous guest, and not changed out. The pillows were also like a flat tire, and when my husband went to ask for another one, the guy said they had a limited supply, and we think he gave us the pillow from his own bed. For one night, it was tolerable, but wouldn't recommend again. They did have a decent hot breakfast set up, which was nice.

The stuff was very helpful when I was asking for a late check-in I was driving along distance and I was going to be getting there close to the end of their check-in time. I arrived with no problems. Staff was very helpful. However when I got to my room my bed sheet was not clean. Sure if it was a permanent stain or that it just wasn't clean. In the morning the breakfast selection was decent however the eggs and the sausage were both cold. Coffee though was very good.
