"We had a clean large room, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Mel on the front desk did a good job of assisting us. Pool facilities were great, as was the sauna and the steam room. We enjoyed the cooked breakfast and all the other food on offer including fresh fruit the next day. The location was good too as we got to play mini golf in the wooded area next door. We also had a tasty dinner in the restaurant. No doubt we'll stay again."

"Fawn at reception was superb, she went above and beyond - delivering the greatest customer service. The hotel was overall good. There is a large private car park, the adjoining restauraunt provides really great food. The hotel room itself wasn't the most clean, and the bed was very uncomfortable, but for the price I paid, I would say that is reasonable."

"AVOID, the reason is that I stayed here for a few weeks a year ago and unfortunately changed rooms 6 times due to air conditioning (one worked one didn't, one didn't switch off at all) issues, parties through the night, traffic, then finally bathroom fan that just stayed on 24/7 very noisy. Finally got a good room but opposite the lift. Tried again recently but unfortunately the room had a window screwed permenantly open so went to 6 degrees at night in a cold snap, the heating had been intentionally disabled as I have a photo of the mains switch on. Main light not working room very dark. When I mentioned it to management they said switch was on which my current room in same position but Was working so in effect saying I lied. Sadly no reply after a full week after providing this evidence and chasing and them refusing to refund this one night. I never asked for previous refund first one as I got really ill due to the cold in the night. Even though there were very loud banging, and building works type noises throughout the week. Very disappointed, even the cleaning mid week she only changed the bed no towel no refills, no clean nothing. Photos attached. Emailed both front desk, spoke to them and the manager no refund, help or compensation. Avoid."

"Superb hotel full of character. Our room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. We dined in the restaurant and were very impressed with the choice offered particularly for my husband who is coeliac and has to have gluten free. Every member of staff we engaged with were so polite and friendly. Our stay was an absolute delight."

"This is a difficult review to write, the hotel cancelled the reservation at 12:17 on the day, 2 hours 43 minutes before check-in. The reason, a room being renovated had not been completed. This was extremely frustrating as the hotel had been contacted directly during the week to confirm the reservation and to discuss specific arrangements regarding the stay and the implications should there be a problem. Contacted Expedia Group, you can only call an American number, who were useless. Contacted the hotel discussed with a person (who I am unable to name, who was excellent) the conversation earlier in the week, she was excellent. called back 20 minutes later and confirmed that she had reinstated the reservation. The hotel is great, the staff in the hotel were excellent, the facilities cannot be faulted, it is just a shame that someone at the hotel believes it is acceptable to cancel a reservation at the last minute and damage the reputation of this establishment."

"Wow what a fabulous find this hotel was. From the moment we walked through the door we were met by a friendly receptionist who showed us around. We had a garden patio room and it was gorgeous. Our evening meal was divine, I had Stonebass and my husband had Tomahawk Pork. Breakfast was outstanding, the best my husband says he has ever had! We will be returning."
