"The best part about the hotel is the view from the balcony. The rooms are clean, typical hotel rooms. It was easy to park and walk around town. I would not suggest the restaurant though. The food was horrible. Other places in town had much better food."

"A beautiful property kitted out with everything needed for a stay with the family (barring washing machine). Serene location with lots of wildlife and a short walk to the beach. Loved Kangastay and can't wait to return!"

"The Supashak did not disappoint. As you drive up, you may be mistaken for its unassuming facade, however as soon as you enter you can tell it’s special. The best part are the little visitors you’ll meet each night from around 5/5.30pm. They’ll keep you entertained for hours from the dining window, so no need for the TV. The premises were beautiful and clean, and the coffee machine was a very welcome addition! The only issue were the mozzies, so come well equipped with mozzie repellent. Also, there isn’t a lot of food options near by so pack a good supply for meals. If you’re heading to Vivonne Bay, give this place a spot on your list!"

"Wonderful beach shack with a private beach. Saw dolphins, seals and sea eagles and caught salmon for tea.Host lives nearby and was friendly and helpful.There is no tv or wifi or optus phone reception but there was telstra coverage. Great place to just disconnect from the world.Maybe bring your own water as we did.We would definitely go back."

"Good location in the middle of the island. Nice house with lovely garden surroundings where native birds can be seen from the windows. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly which is helpful in a fairly isolated area. We had some cold items and early check in could be accommodated so we could use the fridge. The hosts cooked some pizza for us on Saturday night which was good as there are no local restaurants and driving at night is not recommended due to wildlife on the roads."

"This was the first time we traveled to Australia and we were so fortunate to have the opportunity to stay at Ecopia Retreat in the Residence property! The Residence was beautifully decorated and the back yard was full of wildlife! It was a perfect stay for our family for 4 days. The host was always available and so friendly. The stars at night were unbelievable! Totally off the grid and relaxing and special!"
