"Rooms far more spacious than what the photos looked to be. Plenty of chilly AC, AND ceiling fans. Mattresses the most comfortable I've ever slept in !Breakfast waiting in the fridge? Unheard of !!Relatively quiet neighborhood with the rare exception of neighbor's daytime dog. Liked the private parking driveway and the walk to Lock Stock and Barrel was only 2 blks away.No grocery nearby, but we weren't around enough to cook anything. (Fully stocked kitchen tho and washer and dryer in basement.) The ONLY hitch....A beautiful media entertainment center with big screen TV that was totally unwilling to cooperate for broadcast viewing. Wanted to see Monday Night football and no amount of troubleshooting by 2 people produced zero results. : (Highly doubt I'll be returning to Decatur the town I grew up in, but I cannot recommend highly enough this hidden cottage just off Eldorado Ave. A wholly enjoyable road trip overall. "The house was set up perfectly. There was plenty of space for everyone, and everyone was happy with their rooms. We enjoyed watching football on the giant display in the living room. The host was responsive and on top of everything. We’re coming back again for work and will definitely book again."

"Listing did not match the description. Home smelt terrible of smoke. Carpet, couch and property was very unclean. Standing water in the basement that made the house smell even more. Only 4 clean towels for 3 people and 3 nights. Only 1 extra blanket. No hand towel for bathroom. We had to purchase toilet paper as there was less than 1 roll. Door would not lock shut unless we pulled up on the entire door and held it up while it locked. Had to purchase cleaning supplies to make it so we could stay. Contacted VRBO to try and get this fixed. Spoke to the host and they never responded. Worst experience ever and use VRBO several times a year. "
