We had a wonderful stay. The home was spacious and comfortable. The Host went above and beyond in communication and helpfulness. The location was wonderful, so close to many family activities, hikes, and great restaurants.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Disappointed with the cleanliness of the place. The carpets in the bedrooms were stained in many places and did not seem like they had been vacuumed recently. The bathtub was dirty with many dark hairs and mildewy shower curtain. We booked the house for 3 adults and 3 children and were only provided with 4 bath towels. Could only find one spoon in the drawer in the kitchen. Found the rest of the cutlery upon checkout, still dirty in the dishwasher from previous guests. There are tenants renting out the basement apartment. Which added stress to my stay from having to make sure my children weren't making too much noise and disturbing them. Hot tub is still broken which was disappointing. Host made it seem this had happened recently, however after reading other reviews (which I did after checking in) it has been broken for several weeks. The location was great and easy to find with GPS.
We were very disappointed with our stay. The house was not clean when we arrived, even though we were charged a cleaning fee. The hot tub, which was the main reason we booked this property, was not working at all. The bathroom bathtub was dirty, and several lights inside and outside the house were not working. When we asked the owner, they told us the outdoor lights were turned off for their privacy, which made no sense as we were the paying guests.Additionally, basic amenities were missing—no shampoo, bath soap, or even a hair dryer was provided. For the price we paid, we expected at least the essentials. If you are planning a relaxing vacation, I would not recommend this property as it will only add stress and ruin your experience.

Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
We booked for 4 nights, left after one, and got charged for two PLUS the cleaning fee. The bathrooms and bedrooms were not clean with hair and stains all over the floor and pillows, and moldy shower curtains and liners. The host repeatedly claimed the house had been professionally cleaned, and the issues were from normal wear and tear from renting; we did not agree. The kitchen was not clean, sugar container had mold inside the lid, the refrigerator and freezer did not function properly, there was very little cups, glasses, plates, and the drawers, cabinets, and counter tops were dirty. A smoke detector in the hallway was hanging from its wires out of the ceiling, and a glass pane was badly cracked on an internal door (locked) that connected to another section of the property where people were living. This was not mentioned in the ‘luxury escape’ property listing!
