After a long day at the beach, gather around for a game cornhole in your large, fenced in back yard; soak in the hot tub or shoot a round of pool! "Sea Sun Greetings" offers a gas grill for your convenience. Throw today's catch on the grill and gather on one of the many covered or uncovered decks to enjoy a peaceful, family dinner.

Kitty Hawk Family Trip

Vacation property was clean and there was more than enough space for the family. The beach being directly across the street and over the dune was close by for enjoyment, and hanging out in the back with the pool while grilling steaks and playing corn hole was great.

The house overall was great, but the kitchen could use quite a bit more to make it functional for cooking meals. There were no good knives, spoons, or basic utensils, and very little for baking—no pans for cookies, and not even an oven mitt to take things out safely. This made it challenging when it came time to prepare a meal for 12 people.The hot tub and pool were very nice, but the area around the pool needs some care and attention. The outdoor tables were in poor condition, and the space would really benefit from better furniture and upkeep.

Might add, the grass was in need of being cut. There was a wasp nest on one of the porches that we reported and someone came out to take care of it. Having two different places to “hangout” was amazing. Having the large table off the kitchen was wonderful. The whole family was able to eat together and play cards together. Pool and hot tub were perfect in the evenings. The best part was the walk to the beach. Access was right across the street. Would definitely rent this house again.

Well equipped kitchen, beds comfy, clean, pool is perfect size but....One bed was completely covered in dog hair (top and also sheets) when we arrived. We called for replacement sheets and comforter which we received but they never picked up dirty ones. Living room tv is a disaster. Roku just doesn’t cut it. Most channels just buffered and never loaded. Frustrating!! Should be able to watch tv if you spend this much money. House is built for large family so safe to assume several people on wifi at same time. Roku won’t work then. Also hot water heater should be waaayyy bigger! After two showers, be ready to wait at least an hour for hot water. With all that thought, we loved it.

VERY DISAPPOINTING

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Likely a very nice house long ago but needs TLC with now chipped furniture finishes, dirty upholstered chairs, stained rugs on laundry level & overall worn down feeling...couch is gray so no clue how dirty it really is...told management fireplace was not working; tech came out said owner would have to decide cause it was a pilot one followed up with me at all, 3 days left in vaca w/colder temps at night but not fixed...called management co to discuss severe storm alert & feeling I might need to leave if as bad as predicted...told I'd have a call back about it and no one followed up...even with 3 more days left on vaca...Pool has high level of chemicals in it due to winterizing but no one bothered to tell me even though I had dogs on the vaca...very easy for a dog to fall in OR child...a friend handling pools informed me of the dangerous chemicals...MOST IMPORTANTLY...front door does NOT lock from the inside at all- my dog hit the lever and opened the door running out right near the was a TERRIFYING SITUATION...easy for a child to just leave Since the management was so non-responsive, I didn't even bother to discuss the unlockable door handle situation...clearly they did not careabout the guest experience...extremely unsafe to have a door that doesn't lock from inside

Private bathrooms for each room, short walk to the beach with private access (not located at a public access spot which tends to get more crowded), fenced in yard for the dogs (an absolute must for us!), pool, hot tub, pool table, short drive to the grocery store, the list is never ending. We fell in love with the house and with Kitty Hawk. What started as a celebratory trip for a graduation has turned into our summer vacation every year, we love this beach house!

A ladder for the pool along with two big beach umbrellas. There was also a new grill. this house worked great for us because of the 6 Master bedrooms. The property was clean and well-maintained. The entrance to the private beach is across from the house. The realtor is great to work with. There are restaurants near by. We would recommend this property.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great, two kitchens was great for cooking Thanksgiving dinner, six masters was wonderful, but none had a hair dryer. Needs some basic maintenance (teapot leaks, one of toasters is broken, no tips on pool cues, back door does not catch unless slammed, dogs can get out under back gate, screens on the third floor slam when the wind blows. Cleaning was good until we had to move a couch on top floor to look for an earring: giant dust bunnies, empty water bottles, and misc trash.

The location, layout and house in general was beyond our expectations. There was not one thing about the property that I would change. It had everything we needed and more.The house was clean and they had done some renovations since the pictures were taken on the website. It was also nice that the beds were made for us.The house has been well maintained. Beach access was right across the Beach Road. Nice area of the beach, not crowded. We had a TV problem and they came promptly to fix it.You are close to many I would recommend this property to family and friends.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice, large house, located across the street from the beach. The house is big and could probably accommodate 2 large families. However, the interior is quite dated and some aspects of the house could use some updating or renovating.
