The Courthouse hotel is beautifully decorated and our room was spacious and tastefully decorated.
The bar staff were so polite and attentive end even made me Zombie cocktails which were off the menu and where the best I've had in many years.
Thank you for a lovely stay. We'll definitely be back.
Loved the room and one of the quietest hotels I have stayed in. Plenty parking space and no hassle stay. Lovely little village.

Very unique and interesting proprty - I didn't get chance to explore properly so not able to rate amenities / facilities really. Very comfy bed and lovely big bathroom - only minor concern woud be that it is somewhat dimly lit in the stairwell and no "big light" in the bedroom - so reading a paper would be difficult. Would stay again....
Lovely building with a lot of character
The staff in the hotel and bar make this place! They are absolutely fantastic and so positive and passionate
My only grumble … partly my own fault not noticing the thermostat on the wall was waking up in 28 degrees so not the best night sleep- no full length mirror in room which made getting ready not the easiest
The place has had a an up lift and the room we stayed in was airy spacious and we had a room with 2 double beds and it was great very comfortable. They had great extras like toiletries and fudge etc had put a lot of thought in to it. The bar restaurant was also incredibly decorated. The only thing i would change is the air con in the rooms had been switched off and a fan provided but i think all hotels have done this in the hot weather.
A ‘quirky’ rather than mainstream hotel, and that, combined with location was what drew us to the Courthouse. We took two rooms for a family of 4 and had to pay an extra £20 for early check-in (13:00 instead of 15:00) which is often a free service offered by hotels.
Rooms were spacious and well designed, clean but getting a little tired, for example (very) loose toilet flushes in both the rooms we stayed in.
Breakfast service was not great, we found our way to the restaurant and seated ourselves as no one was around. We waited for a while but still no one came and we had to go back to reception to ask if there was anyone one to take order.
I’m the end we waited for about 10 minutes - our order was taken and the food was ok. Coffee poor.
The Courthouse was not cheap, and for the price I expected much more. Better service (more, faster) would make this an offering more in keeping with its rate.
Super Loud music playing outside until late at night on a Monday and Tuesday evening - despite no-one being there to play it to. Never anyone on reception desk. Poor service. Won’t stay again.
Wow. The entrance is impressive (go in via the right hand door for the hotel). I stayed in a standard double room but it was anything but, it was an exceptional double room. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was lovely, especially with the Bath House products. Everything I needed was there. It is convenient for the centre of Knutsford and parking was free. I didn't have breakfast, but there was water and coffee/tea in the room.
We have stayed here a few times now and the place is getting better and better!. Lovely building (inside and out) and great location for a stroll around Knutsford and for access to bars and restaurants (although maybe that isn't a priority at this very moment!)
Beautiful historic building with some stunning features. Very nice rooms and restaurant. Only thing that annoys me is the showers in the rooms. You need to put down most of your towels to stop it flooding the floor and turning it into an ice rink. Lovely hotel apart from the shower issue

Lovely room, lots of parking, staff very friendly and a great meal in the restaurant. Highly recommended
A nice hotel, lovely old courthouse building, the rooms are well designed and comfortable. Staff are helpful and courteous. A nice bar area and close to all food options and bars.
Excellent Hotel, room newly refurbished, excellent food and service. Only issues were: Phone in room did not work, no TV remote (had to ask for one) and air con in room was not working correctly so room very cold.
The 'wing' in which our room (3) was situated had only been open for approx 6 weeks therefore everything was new. It is a very well appointed room and we had a good nights' sleep. The air-con, although fitted with a complicated to use wall control, was efficient and very quiet. The bathroom and toiletries were excellent. The only downside was that the windows are not double glazed and some road noise could be heard early morning.
Breakfast was included in the price and was very good. The let down for us was the rather chaotic service. Three members of staff who didn't appear to know what the were doing and with only three customers to serve. I wouldn't want to be dining there when the restaurant is busy if that's the level of service with only three people to look after.
Check out was similar - no-one to be seen so I had to stand round for at least 5+mins before I asked the restaurant staff for help.
I would recommend but the dining service needs improving..... and fast.
